.

Welcome aboard! I'm cruising with my DH Mark (aka MarkRG here on the boards). We also have been hosting a website about the cruise (link is in my signature below). If you want to include your family drop me an e-mail to marygums@monorailgreen.info Please put May 27th in the subject (we are doing something like this for another cruise as well). Also let us know if you want to be included in the DIS navigator and buttons. Full details on the web page.

They are playing for the bicentennial of the town that I grew up in... Rob Hyman is from there... his dad lives in my parents condo complex, and was everyone's dentist. I used to babysit for his cousins' kids... she sent him into the little store that I worked in on Thanksgiving Day and told him to say hello to me... I was in high school, and they were 'big' then, so I was surprised, to say the least!

That's cool! Where did you grow up? The Hooters were really popular in Philly before they made it big. That's when I saw them the most - when they played at one of the local high schools, the mall, and other non-venue-type places. One of my friends at the time wound up in one of their first videos.

Now you're making me want to dig out my old cassettes...

I'm ready to cruise now. The toilets in our room flushed with the same force as the ones on the ship, so I was reminded of cruising every time. :teeth: I

That's too funny! We get that same reminder when we flush the toilet in our upstairs bathroom. Why the previous owners thought THAT would be a good idea, I'll never know. But when my mother was here this weekend, she said that from the guest room (right under the bathroom), it sounded like thunder. OY...

Maria and Samantha....do you guys take any allergy medications? I know without my daily claritin I'd be MISERABLE (headaches, sore throats, general stuffiness) Same goes for Nick and Mike. KT seems to be the only one in the family who has escaped seasonal allergies. :)

Nothing daily for me. I probably should, but for now I can mostly keep it under control with OTC stuff. Plus, with my jobs in the last few years, it's been pratically impossible to get to the doctor. Maybe this summer I'll take care of it so I'm better medically prepared for next year.

Ray, can you describe it's flavor? Is it something that will put you "down for the count" pretty quickly? :rotfl2:

I don't actually USE Claritin....we buy the generic Loratadine (same thing but much cheaper)

Just started ds back on his Zyrtec this week. Lots of trees a bloomin' round here.

DS talked us into sleeping in the pop-up last night. It wasn't bad, just got down around 50. I ended up plugging in the space heater around 4 am to take the chill off. Our faithful dalmation stayed outside to 'protect' us all night, which means she'd go off for several minutes several times during the night. Then there was the train at 4:15 (house is across the road from the tracks; goes by twice a day). It's amazing how much louder the train is when we're in the camper. Of course, ds slept through it all.

I had a nice nap in the camper yesterday afternoon. Almost reminded me of being on the ship, but without being seasick. The wind was gently rocking the camper. Nice napping conditions. I heard a van pull into our drive; it was MIL and FIL. I tried to pretend that I was still asleep, but dh came in and 'woke' me up and said that if he had to put up with them I had to suffer along with him. They live in town about 20 minutes away. We've lived here almost 5 years. This was about the 4th time they've come to our house. We both know they only came to look at what was left of the barn.:guilty: Sad, but true.

I've been doing my best the last few days to help boost the post count. Trying hard to get in my 19 per day.

DS put his own sunscreen on yesterday. He has a couple of red patches where he missed spots on the back of his arms. Note to self, apply sunscreen for ds while on vacation...

Once again when I start posting, everyone leaves. I'm going to get an even BIGGER complex than the one I already have...

I was just on the Budget web site and see that their Cape Canaveral office closes at 6 pm on Fridays, but is open at 8 am on Saturdays. Looks like we'll keep our car until Sat. morning so we can do last minute running around Friday evening, plus go to JB's.
