Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. That stinks. (And not just because it's Sopranos night!) Spring is a nightmare on my sinuses as well. Almost makes me look forward to rainy days. Hope you're feeling better in the morning!

Maria and Samantha....do you guys take any allergy medications? I know without my daily claritin I'd be MISERABLE (headaches, sore throats, general stuffiness) Same goes for Nick and Mike. KT seems to be the only one in the family who has escaped seasonal allergies. :)

Believe it or not, this is my last post of the night. I will have to post a lot tomorrow to make up for it, but I'm tired! :confused3 I have no idea why, maybe too many posts last night! :teeth: :teeth: :rolleyes1

Greetings, just checking in with everyone. Seems like the post count keeps going up and up! Come on 52706!

Want to say welcome to the new people. I am Paul (32) and my wife Rebecca (27) are taking our second Disney Cruise. Our 2-year old gets a week at WDW while we are on the ship...(ahh...relaxation!) She is now acting like a 2-year old all the time. I am usually in lurker mode, but I will try to post more to help us make 52706.

I ran a marathon yesterday morning. It was part of the Albuquerque Tricentennial events. Started out with a balloon mass ascention which was cool, but then the rest of it could have been better. It got hot out there and water stops were about 2-2.7 miles apart. For the Disney Marathon/Half Marathon water stops are about 1 mile apart. But I still finished the 26.2 miles and am able to walk today, so I guess it could have been worse! My official time was 4:43.

Where oh where is that fainting smilie! WOW 26 + miles in less that 5 hours??????? WOW WOW WOW How to get up to that point? I can hardly make myself WALK 2 miles around our local park! Wow!

One down, two to go. Alicia had her school dance recital tonight, competition next weekend, and then studio recital May 20. We leave for FL May 22. Not so far away!

The school recital was at the Roy O. Disney Hispanic Performing Arts Center. Beautiful place, first time we've been there. The bathroom had automatic flushing toilets, automatic faucets, and automatic hand dryers. I told Kevin I felt right at home. No Mickey anywhere, though.

Stacey and Virgil, welcome home! Yeah, I'm thinking a 7 day cruise is going to feel short after the 10 day.

Thanks for the welcome. First time cruise for me and family of wife, 4 daughters, one niece and her friend. Getting more and more excited each day. Anyone going on or gone on the Mayan excursion with David and Ivan?

OMG... The HOOTERS! I haven't heard that name in so long. I used to love them, and saw them countless times in the mid-80s before they hit it "big" (well, as big as they ever did) and left Philly.

I know that I'm skimming a bit to get caught up, but STOP using words like that in the same paragragph...... :lmao:

I think we would sell OKW before BCV. I love it over there, and the points are premium. If you need to rent points, everyone wants BCV. But yeah, I was thinking we should sell our extra 150 point OKW contract when Alicia needs a car. Problem is, I keep using the points!

I would sell OKW if we had them, but we have Boardwalk and Beach club. Our boardwalk points is our main contract and we just have an add-on at Beach Club.

So since everyone has been in a chatty mood lately I thought I would throw out a cruise related question.

Part of the DIS navigator is going to be a calendar with what ports we'll be in etc. Right now we only have the DIS meet planned for Saturday at 3pm. If there is any other planned event the group wants to have now would be the time to decide it so that we could include it in the calendar.

I know at one time we talked about doing a group photo in the atrium like we did on the 10 day. Do we still want to do that? Anyone up for organizing it and picking a day?

Any other group event?

Let the planning begin. Deadline would be the same as for the buttons - May 7th.
\\

Mary -- I am in on whatever someone decides. A group picture would be great. However, I think I will let someone else organize. I am going to have my hands full over the next couple of weeks. When the orders get ready to ship, I plan on going over to help the lady get everything straight. Work is also going to be a killer from now until May 13. I am in charge of the election for our school board and we have 3 seats up.

Okay -- just caught up reading all of today's posts. Wheh....

Welcome home Virgil and Stacey -- you were missed!

We had a good day today. Skipped church and just stayed home all morning. Cleaned house and got all laundry done. Then this afternoon, ran up to the mall and to Kohl's and then we took the kids to do miniature golf and a quick dinner. Nice to come home to a clean house and not have to clean up the kitchen again.

Then I worked on our closet and that took forever. It was jus so clutered. I made a section in the closet where all my cruise clothes are hanging, so I can see what I have now:)

Welcome to all of our new folks. Looking forward to meeting everyone in just a few short weeks
