They're known as microfiber cloth, they're becoming real popular in collector car circles too, any auto store that has good car care products should have them.

One word of warning, wash them in mild soap, something like woolite or such, something that is just pure laundry soap, no addtives like fabric softener.

Yeah, that's what they told us at the home and garden show....NO fabric softeners (in the washer or dryer) ....he said most of the time just wash it out with some dish soap.

I've become obsessive about washing Mowana nose prints off of the windows lately! (b/c it's so EASY)

I thought about becoming a dealer.....and marketing them to cruise ships. Imagine how easy it would be for the room stewards not to have to lug all that stuff around! ;) Of course, then might think they don't need to be tipped as much....."all he ever did was come in with a cloth." :)

How about fried pickels, heard those were good.

Fried pickles are good - if it's a light breading...The pickle should stay really crisp :thumbsup2 Don't really like Fried Green Tomatoes though...

I'm a geek,....I have a comb binder!

So if someone wants to collect the recipes and publish them, they can send me the file and I can print it and comb bind them all. :)

weird, I know, but it's been SOOOOOOO helpful with school!

I would be willing to collect the recipes and put them together in some sort of order...So if people want to start emailing them to me, I will put them together and OM can comb bind them......if we are good and fast maybe before cruise time..1 book per family, send me your 5 best recipes!!! try to mix them between appetizers, entrees and desserts!!! email in word to raypugsy@earthlink.net

I have had fried pickle and fried stuffed olives!!!! not tried fried green tomatoes

Black olives or green?

Not a big fan of green olives - but, I bet with the breading, they'd be good...

Poof, be gone!

That's what we say around here when we want to ignore someone who is just being a pain.

Poof, be gone! OM, you were just poofed!

Reminds me of when I was 17 and drove cross-country with my parents and brother. When we stopped at the Grand Canyon, my mother thought it would be a WONDERFUL idea for us all to wear RED shirts. Why red? I have no idea. But at 17, I was horrified and embarassed. These days, if Jim and I accidentally wind up in the same color shirt, one of us has to change. Sounds like I need therapy for this, huh?

(Great... a U TOP with my nutty parents...)

My girlfriend puts her two boys now ds11 and ds 8 in matching clothes whenever they go on vacation, parks, theme parks, etc...basically crowd areas. Then if they get seperated, she only has to remember one set of clothes...

He wouldn't think you were nuts, he'd think you were a pig! I didn't say you were, I only said what he would say if the cookies were all gone...so don't go postal on me...again....I guess I can quit the code talk...Kevin knows he got COOKIES in the mail and NO ONE IN FLORIDA did.

Thanks for coming to my defense. It's nice knowing I have a friend out there.

it's for souvenirs!!!

Either that - or clothes never pack back as nice and neatly as when you arrived...They always seem to take more room on the way home...

Anything special in those cookies? ;)

Well, let's see....I've made some special brownies before....not cookies...although, I think the concept is the same..... :rolleyes1

I just gained 3 pounds with all the talk of fried foods. My son in law's favorite is fried Twinkies. He even has a machine to make his own at home. Thoroughly disgusting.

Well, I am home now. Had to run Ashley up to Target to get new pencils and special snacks to take to school tomorrow. State Testing (TAKS) starts tomorrow. We decided to take it easy tonight and no swimming so she can relax and get to bed early. Dale starts his at the high school tomorrow and they run through Friday. Some days he doesn't have to go to school until noon. Tomorrow is an all day for him and then an orchestra practice after school. I am always so relieved for the kids once the testing is over. They put so much pressure on them to do well.
