Rumor has it that the Easter Bunny is bringing new snorkel gear to my house, along with a few other things that will be helpful on the cruise. With one kid in braces and one that needs more sugar like he needs another bellybutton (ask Jim & Sharon), EB keeps candy to a minimum.

Plus with the shorts I only need a tee for a cover up.

I hate PEEPS, too....but my kids always liked them. Ick.
Nope...I lied...this is the one from Land's End that I liked:

It's a Skortini. And it says I'll look like her if I wear it. Not.

"well, kids,....... GRANDMA killed the Easter bunny!"

I had intended to pick up Emily & a friend from aftercare but found out another friend will be there tomorrow too. So I'll leave her there to play for a few hours & have a few more ME hours. That sounds horrible but I bet she'll cry when I pick her up. These 2 other girls go to different schools & aren't at day care very often. They will all be back together this summer & can't wait!

Ah come on!! I have come to realize that you're weird (takes one to know one) but, now you're telling us that your kids don't like chocolate??????ohiominnie said:Plus with the kids' braces, MOST of the Easter candy is off limits anyway....and they aren't HUGE fans of chocolate. So guess who is going to eat all of their stuff!!!!!!
ohiominnie said:Yeah, I'm not for blanket amnesty either, but I don't think rounding them all up and deporting them is the way to go either. I'm not sure how this will play out. Seal the borders and work towards getting the ones who are here now through the citizenship process, maybe???
I DO know that if it wasn't for the Mexican immigrants, there would be a lot of things that didn't get done in this country. At least they are willing to WORK....and work HARD. I'm sick of seeing our American born teens acting like it's the end of the world if they have to do something....and do it well. Seems like they all want to be paid lots of money for the least amount of work possible.
Heck, I'd like that too, but I'm realistic that if I want lots of money, I'll have to work hard (or marry well!![]()
)
btw, our siding job is starting Monday and we were "warned" that it would more than likely be an all Mexican crew (legal, of course)....but they did say that they were hard pressed to find enough Americans willing to do the work and who weren't all mired down in unions.![]()
That explains a couple of things.........scuba diver said:Of course the Easter Bunny does not come to my house. My mother killed it 40 years ago.
Seriously, my mother killed the Easter bunny. When I was little she was driving us home on Saturday night before Easter morning. Just down the street from our house a bunny ran out and she hit it. Dead. My father proudly announced Mom had killed the Easter bunny.
It has never been back. My mother, the Easter bunny killer.
