Unless Pam beats me to it, I may as well go for 35,300........

Stacey -- I met with the vendor this afternoon and turned in all the order. She wanted to know if there was any other address that she could ship to. All of her orders go out fed-ex ground. I told her you were out in the middle of the "boondocks" but that I would check with you.

As long as you can be 100% sure that it's FedEx Ground, and not FedEx Home Express, I can PM you the street address at the shop. That's where I get packages.
The problem with FedEx Home Express is that they start it out sending it FedEx, but when it gets to AZ, they hand it over to the post office. If it has a street address on it, our post office sends it back....they don't deliver to the street addresses. It's a royal pain in the ****.

Never heard of fed-ex home express -- what is that?? She told me Fed ex ground, but I can double check with her again tomorrow when she comes by the office.

Maybe that's just something stupid they do here in Arizona. Maybe we should have her ship it to you, and I could pay for you to mail it to me???

Nah...it should be okay. Give her the address that I just PM'd to you...it'll be fine.

100,000 people marching downtown today. Boy am I glad I don't work down there!
What a stupid mess!!

I told her I would do that already. If that would be easier, but you don't have to pay more. Let me talk to her tomorrow when she is by my office.

Shirt/Bag Update

Everything has been submitted to the vendor. The bags were going to be ordred this afternoon and the shirts will probably be ordered tomorrow.

The plan is that she should have everything back in her shop by next week and will start work on the orders. She has given me a ship date of May 1, which is a monday. Orders are scheduled to go out via Fed-ex Ground.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Dokey Okey...see what she says and let me know. I had an order with Spiegel...they used to mail it, now they use the FedEx Home Express....they sent it once, it got returned....they promised to use UPS the next time, but didn't...it got returned. I finally told them to just keep it. Too bad, 'cause it was some cute clothes.

What a stupid mess!!

I think one of the (5pm) news stations said close to 200,000 showed up when they were expecting 100,000. I'm not watching the 10pm news - I've been reading the boards :)
Sherry

they just did a recap on channel 12 and said 120,000 people..........

Stacey, we didn't set up that lunch we talked about. We need to do that now that you're well and the rodeo's over!

I'm just doin' a little work towards that post goal............

I've read some of those shoe threads.............What are your opinions? How many of you have Crocs and/or Keens? I was at Dillards the other day and they have Crocs - they had the flip flops and the clogs with the holes. Actually I think they had the solid clogs too. They were all on one particular display area. I was walking around and on one of the tables they had a Croc Islander (I think that was the name). It was more of a shoe - had the holey type base and kind of a boatshoe type top - the leather across the instep with the leather shoe lace. They were cute in a funny kind of way. I didn't try them on. They, as well as the clogs, seem like they'd be hot. I also didn't feel like dealing with a salesperson - I hate that the shoe dept is on commission. I feel bad trying things on unless I know I'm going to buy. I shouldn't feel that way...... Do the Crocs provide much support? I need arch support. My feet are wide as well - seems like the Croc's would be good for that. I've been a birkenstock girl, but since I broke my foot a couple of years ago I feel better in my tennis shoes (side support). I did try on the Keen Newport H2 today at Sports Chalet. They were quite comfy for that short amount of time. I'm not too sure on the width - I couldn't decide if they'd bother me after awhile. I looked at the men's 'cause often they're wider, but they are higher on the side and I was afraid they might rub the ankle. I should have tried anyway. So, enough rambling! I guess I shouldn't have had that caffeine :teeth:

I'm having some anxiety now that we're getting closer! LOL Excited but anxious. Plus I'm still not getting along well on my diet- AT ALL- looks like I'm going to have to go clothes shopping just to have something to wear on this trip besides my sweats and one pr of jeans (and some jeans shorts) that fit me. Okay I have some dresses that fit- but I can't wear jeans every day during the day and definitely not sweats. Maybe I should get serious about the diet- I can lose SOME before the cruise. LOL Y'all aren't going to recognize me from the picture- my face always thins out first -so it was thin in that picture... isn't now. *cry*

How's everyone doing???
We're doing fine here- besides me having a cough for going on 2wks now! It can go away any day now please.......
