WOW, couldn't have said it better myself!!!! SO true!!!! In fact, I had to switch from late dining back to early b/c there were too many Michigan fans on late dining!!!

Besides... we have to balance out the number of pot-stirrers (and sitters

) at each seating, or the kitchen might run out of spoons...

Stacey - I'm sorry, but I thought I posted this before.

Glad to have you back on the boards. Sorry to hear about your mishap at that "other" place, but happy you're feeling better. I'm finding that the older we get, not saying we're old, but it takes a little longer than I remember to start feeling better after something like that. Take care of yourself and ice it.

Saw the opposum. Did you know that they are marsupials? I don't care for the little buggers. We have them here and they LOVE our garbages. Until hubby bought a garbage garage that is. They are a scarey little creature though. No thanks.

I've never been to Bean Town. Friends of mine went to Western New England college but I never got up there when they were venturing to Boston. Oh well...one day.

Actually, I'll be in Boston at the end of April for a wedding... an IRISH wedding... the last of our single college friends (he's 41) is finally tying the knot... I can just imagine the party that THAT's gonna be!!!! I haven't seen any of my college friends since we moved 3 years ago... (and we had always stayed close, even after so many years)... gives me somthing else to look forward to before the cruise. (and before THAT I've got 4 days in Philly... not really looking 'forward' to it, but it will make the days go by faster!!!)

In all the time we've spent, we've never seen Fantasmic... is it worth making tomorrow a really long day to see it, or should we just head back toward home once the kids are tired (or the adults are tired... whichever comes first). We are going to hit AK in the AM, and probably MGM later in the day... anybody??

In all the time we've spent, we've never seen Fantasmic... is it worth making tomorrow a really long day to see it, or should we just head back toward home once the kids are tired (or the adults are tired... whichever comes first). We are going to hit AK in the AM, and probably MGM later in the day... anybody??

We LOVE Fantasmic! Well worth waiting for, and if the kids are tired, they'll perk right up seeing it.
Much better at MGM, with the seating for everyone. At Disneyland, it isn't in a theater setting, so you have to stake out a viewing spot early, or pay big bucks to watch from Walt's apartment. We've done that a couple of times, this time we just wandered over as it was starting and watched from the Haunted Mansion.
What was cool was being over there a couple of hours before it started and watching them test the fog, water fountains & sound. We'd never happened by there before and seen them do that.

YES. It's worth it. Get there decently early for a decent seat. Although the only truly BAD seat we had was the time we went there at 8:55 p.m. not knowing you had to get there EARLY for a 9:00 Fantasmic....and we stood in the LAST row on standing room only with the kids on our shoulders!!!

It is definitely worth seeing, but it is the kind of show where you "hurry up and wait" - but at least you're sitting while you're waiting (although it is on bleechers ) If y'all are exhausted, I'd skip it - but if you have any energy left -- go for it!! It's unique; I've never seen anything like it.
