WDWLVR said:Julia - I don't need anything from you for the Navigator. The inside will have names and cabin numbers but not the pictures. One side will have the listing by cabin number (high to low) and the other side will have the listing by DIS name (using one DISer per family). Just an easy way to find a fellow DISer if you are on excursions together etc.

WDWLVR said:Maria - tell him not to worry. It really won't be like we are all joined at the hip. The DIS meets are short times just to get everyone to meet and get to know each other. Mark and I still had plent of time as a couple. One of the reasons we booked High Tea - something we enjoy as a couple.
When i played LRC with Karen on the 10 day it was a sea day I believe and I was just walking past the promonade lounge. Stopped to say hello and they were playing so I joined them for a few rounds.
That to me is the fun thing...just running into friends all over the ship.
Yeah - a top with Maria, her DH, and Karen!

itdjbw said:That's what I thought after I posted, DH calls them cable ties and his guys use them for work.
TiggerInNY said:That's exactly how I feel. It's so nice to be in a strange place and be able to see a familiar face (even if we just met). I guess we're just different people. Thanks Mary.
TiggerInNY said:Don't worry, we won't. I can see it now...a bunch of DH just standing there looking at eachother not doing or saying anything.![]()
Can't wait.
MarkRG said:I use them for work. And hooboy do I have the work this weekend! One of the main utilities a laundry/drycleaner needs is compressed air. And for a place on the scale of the one I'm engineer at, http://www.zengelercleaners.com , it's a big deal. And because we run 6 days a week, My only window to replace any vital equipment is Saturday afternoon/Sunday. So I have to deal with things like this:

This is the old setup. To give you a sense of scale, the air compressor on the left is a little under 3 ft tall. it draws almost as much power as an average house to run. We used to have two of those, but the one on the right(behind the green beam) is a temporary replacement for one that catastropically destroyed itself.

The same room as of last night about 9pm. I've removed the temporary one, washed the room down a bit and reinstalled the one that used to be on the left into the spot on the right. That thing has to be at least twice or three times my weight too so it's not easy to move around either.
