Oh no... she'll be wearing her OTHER birthday present on semi-formal night... though I suppose I could just send them to dinner alone... ... I could just imagine the arguements that Maria & her DH would be referreeing if that were the case!!!!

When you have an onboard credit - what does it apply to? Everything? Reservatins? Drinks? Palo Fees? Spa? Hair Salon??? Gift shop???

It is just a credit on your master bill. It can be used against any charge on your account - Spa, Drinks, Excursions, whatever. I am using mine for the Spa (my Cozumel Excursion).

thanks so much for the heads up on the CC stingray excursion. I think I am brave enough to do it.

I am sure Nick will enjoy it and Sue will be lurking around a bush or palm tree. At least Nick as one DA that will put on her big girl panties and venture into the sea of stingrays. ( DS Sue is always telling me to put on my big girl panties - I do have a few anxiety issues.)

Dilemma... I REALLY want to be able to eat at Palo, (hence my snagging Angie's gracious offer), but I also want our family to be able to have formal night dinner together... On the other hand... If the kids aren't going to dinner on formal night, I don't need to buy Christopher a new suit, and Ray won't need to bring his tux. (But Elizabeth also won't have the opportunity to wear her 'birthday present'.) What to do, what to do?

My advice is to go to Palo with Ray. Let Christopher stay in the program for dinner, and send Elizabeth (in her birthday present dress) to preen with Lisa and Lauren at late seating. I am sure we can figure out a seat somehow.

You COULD let them go to dinner alone. Depending on your kids and your servers. I'd feel fine sending my two to dinner alone and they are 11 and 9. Their maturity level goes up a notch on the cruise. Seems like they rise to the occasion. I hope that's the case on this cruise or else Mark and Mary will have GREAT stories to tell!

Sharon -- I am the one with a ressie for High Tea on Thursday and offered it out. I know I will be the only one going more than likely. I think we were hoping someone else could get a high tea for Thursday so we could all go together (a large group of ladies). Anyway, mine is still out there.

I wanted to book the "all-inclusive" package for Castaway Cay. I never did see it listed. I'm just amazed that it was all booked for both days at Castaway Cay. Did any of your 105 or 90 dayers see it?

I was on DCL's site last night (before your booking time) and saw it there....at least I THINK I did. I think that's one that you won't have any problem with, booking it onboard.

Yep, that's the one. I just went ahead & booked one adult & one child snorkel rental. I may go ahead & buy cheap snorkel gear without fins from ToysRUs. The kids ones were under $10 and adult ones were around $15.

Thanks for the info on dressing for Palo. Bruce will be relieved.

I bought the girls swim goggles from Costco the other day .. 3 in a pack. They were kid size ones. I tried on a pair & they fit me.
