Sounds like it might be a good idea... or she can go to early sitting dinner with everyone else who is there... she would probably STARVE to death if I made her eat dinner at 8PM (she eats me out of house and home...) It might be a good plan, though, as I haven't bought Christopher his suit yet... would save me some $ for something he'll wear once and fight about the entire time. (He'll fit RIGHT in on tropical night... that's more his style... Mr. Laid Back...)

Oh, hey, then there is the option of her coming to dinner early and eating with my KT. As long as it's OK with Mark and Mary, we could squish her in at our table. Or send Nick over to Maria's table...she has little boys around Nick's age. :)

Ok, so now I have to clear it with Mark, Mary, Maria, Augie, Elizabeth, KT, Nick, AJ, and Anthony....

whew.

Probably got worn out from yesterday. Do those little buggers GET worn out?
How old is your monkey, Kevin?? :lmao:

Little known fact about me....I used to work in a nursing home. Let's just say the most action some of those old men get is when you clean them up after an accident....and....no, unfortunately they do not wear out. :( :lmao: once I had a guy in his 80's tell me to take off my clothes, lie down beside him and he'd give me one, good....insert very profane word here....

(sigh) NOT my favorite job I've ever had. Depressing.

YIPPIE!!!! Now go dance around your house!!! :)

You'll have to tell me how close to "cruise music" it is...
Like were there any songs that did NOT represent the cruise very well?

If not, I'll tell you....MIKE put together the playlist!! Blame him! :lmao:

My advice is to go to Palo with Ray. Let Christopher stay in the program for dinner, and send Elizabeth (in her birthday present dress) to preen with Lisa and Lauren at late seating. I am sure we can figure out a seat somehow.

Our rule which worked well on our first cruise, is the kids have to join us for dinner the 1st three nights - after that it's up to them...We'll have extra chairs at late seating, I'm sure that my kids will be hurrying through their dinner to get up to the Lab...

My friend Ray, went on the Jan cruise with us, wants to cruise on the Eastern Magic in Oct/Nov '07. His sister will be coming also so Ray suggested I try for a 2br suite :faint: I called DCL and Oct 13, 2007 eastern has a 2br available :scared1: $12,000 for 5 adults. And that is not air fare, just ins and transfers. I have until Thurs, March 16th to make the deposit. If we split, my half will be about $1,000 more than a cat 5 or 6. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Oh, I would hope Jeanne will be with me and Liz.

Elizabeth also asked me if she could wear her tiara on the cruise (she HAD to have a tiara for school on her 12th birthday... so Gramma bought her one, (of course))... all I could think of was everyone's stories about the 'grown-woman-who-thought-she-was-a-princess' on your 10-day last year...

Mike is going to wear his "formal attire" of black pants and a white oxford - he'll probably pitch a fit but, I'm hoping to get matching Mickey ties onboard for him and John...

oh, Let Elizabeth wear her tiara - score brownie points with Grandma - she's wearing it again...

Maggie was on the list when we arrived at Space Camp (crisis averted)- checked online Visa statement before leaving and it was credited this morning so, she was in - or, at least I'd have the credit statement to back up my "proof" since they didn't send a confirmation for her.

I was really impressed, one of the counselors called them by name even before I could say their names to check them in...She remembered them from last summer's camp, their first at the Space Center....

Nick will be in khaki pants, button down shirt and sandals.

We would be pleased to have dinner with your children on formal night, or any night for that matter.

But it's perfectly all right for a REAL princess to wear a tiara. Tell her to bring it.

I will take you up on that. I thought there was a group going on Thursday, that is the only reason I said Thursday. Thank you very much!!!!! Sharon

I think there is a group going Thursday, but not sure if demand exceeds available spaces!! A Monday spot is definitely your's. Just let me know if you change your mind and decide "not" to come, OK?!!! :)

The dance recital this year has a movie theme. One of Alicia's ballet classes is doing the theme from Breakfast at Tiffany's, with black and white gowns and small, bun size tiaras. I got a glimpse of one, it's very pretty. She will be 15, think she can get away with it on the cruise? She'll probably bring it anyway.

I'm kind of looking forward to the recital. Her tap class is doing Pink Panther, pointe class Swan Lake, one Jazz class (she's in 3) is doing Chorus Line, Hip Hop is the theme from a James Bond movie. Can't remember which one. She's also in an African number and lyrical number, music unknown.

And a ballet class she isn't in is doing Phantom of the Opera, complete with a guy in a cape lifting some of the girls. He declined to wear the mask. That one should be interesting!
