Stacey, that is too funny! Did they pose for you or were they posing for someone else and you snapped a pic?

Great snow pics. We're 80 deg. here today. I'm loving it!

Nah, we found that online last year. Pretty disgusting, huh?

I am most interested in the catamarran and snorkeling and trying to decide whether we should go on Cozumel or Costa Maya? Have you heard anything about those or who the operator is?

I haven't been to Costa Maya (yet!) so I can't really say which is better, but we were in Cozumel in December, and the snorkeling there was FANTASTIC! Huge grouper (one took a little nip at me!) .....clear as a bell water.....

I'm not 100% sure if we ever are told who the operators are. When we've booked things on our own, it's trial and error. I e-mail one, and they'll usually e-mail back that they can either take us, or that they are booked with cruise people. Anyone else???

We booked our Cozumel private snorkel through Shore Trips. I know that I've heard someone say that their boat through Shore Trips never showed up, and at first we thought we were on a wild goose chase, too. The place where we were told to take a taxi to had a lot of boats, but we didn't see anything that looked like it would be ours. We had our taxi driver interpret for us, and found out that our captain wasn't there yet. We were an hour early. So we went back into town and shopped some, and when we went back to the little harbor area, our captain was there. We had a great day, and it was cheaper than a ship excursion.

The "rear" view of that guy is even more disgusting:

Well, the Regional Team was selected. Lisa did not have a strong enough score. The lowest score taken was 37.375 and she had a 37.225.

The Coach called us and was disappointed as well. It is tough when so much is riding on one meet. Jim had made a bet with the Coach last year that if she could get Lisa's to Regionals (her score last year was 35.5 or so at State) Select Team he would pay for Lisa, Coach & I to go on a weekend Disney Cruise. I don't think he thought until recently that this was even a possibility. Lisa has had a good cry and feels like she disappointed her Coach. I am sure her Coach is not disappointed in how Lisa competed. She still gets to go to Huntsville, AL to complete against girls from the other States, she just won't be representing Florida in the "Premier" Event. (And, she so loved the leo and warm ups she would have won if she had made the team - pink & black. They sized her after her meet in case her score was strong enough to go.)

Thanks for your prayers and Pixie Dust. I will let you know what time Regionals are in April when Coach is informed.

Awwwww Lisa - so close! :grouphug: I hope you know we are still so very very proud of you!

Hey Maria!

I think you are correct about Sundaynight/Monday morning...however, it is strange that the 90 day mark was Saturday night/Sunday morning :confused3

Yes, our night is Sun. night/Mon. morning. The 90 day mark was on a Sat./Sun. We're at the 75 day mark ... so 15 days difference. If the difference was 14 days, then we would have been on Sat./Sun. too. Just means that we'll all be falling asleep at our desks on Mon.

WOW...we saw your score this morning and really thought you had it in the bag. Looks like you had a great meet though. Best of luck to you in Huntsville. Kelly has state next week.

LISA! Still a fantastic score!! You should be very proud of yourself.....you KNOW that you are amazing!

What a great weekend. In spite of the fact that it's going to rain until Monday....I'm doing laundry, and just getting little things done. Maybe another sign for the door.

But I don't have anything "major" to have to worry about doing. Jay was actually nice and brought me some work home. I mean that sincerely. He usually won't let me work from home....but I like getting it done here, in between laundry and the DIS.

The accountant called...all of the taxes are ready to be picked up and mailed on Monday. Now to find a bank to rob so that I can pay them!
:scared: :scared: :scared:

I hesitate to ask, but is there some reason you don't actually watch the meet? Do you make Lisa nervous?

I make Lisa nervous? The guy that can make her cry by just looking at her? :guilty:

Yes, you hit it right on the head. She doesn't want me to go to the meets. I get to go to one a year and that is usually a small one that does not matter.

Good Afternoon - Gosh, you have been chatty.....

Spent the morning in the garden, finally....weeding and more weeding......my knees are bright red from the effort...so natch, we had to go out to lunch = the store to get provisions and back into the garden for a few clip backs.

Now it only looks slightly a mess!!!!!! :rotfl2:

I really hope that's just because she's a "girl" and not because you are a big MEANIE! :darth:

And again....here I am talking to myself.......and watching Monk. I love Monk.

It hasn't rained yet, so Jared is at his practice, Jay is at his games....I took the girls to Bad Donkey. Leaving in a few to pick Jared up. I'm going to paint TAXI on the side of my car.

:car: :car: :car:

We need rain also - it is very - very dry...Sam is outside watering now...

I sent Jay to the grocery store for "emergency provisions"...just in case the creek does go up. Besides....I can't stand to have him sitting here just looking at me.
Me wishes he would go diving.

We are fast approaching a MAJOR milestone post. Who's gonna pirate: it???

2 A-'s here - Are blood banks linked? Can we donate blood in Houston for account credits elsewhere? Only have donated towards local accounts so, not sure if the blood banks are nationalized. Sorry, can't help with the organ donor list though...

QUESTION - so can we donate blood for GaRRY? Even if it is not the correct type, I recall that they may take it? Anyway, we could start our own drive for WHEN he has the surgery.....?????
