You guys are doing it to me again! I show up, everyone disappears. I'm getting a complex. The DIS is dissing me.

And I should have known better than to have said it was going to be a calmer day. Suffice to say, it wasn't. Please (seriously) pray for my sanity. All I'm going to say is that I got called to the principal's office. I'm running away.

Work is so.....We decided that we are all going to Pango pango - care to join us?

We have two more trips before the cruise......Disneyland next week, and Vegas the last weekend in April. I know...I said I wasn't going again, but my arm got twisted. Yep, uh huh. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

SPEAKING OF VEGAS - anyne called the number that tells you - you have won a free Vegas Trip????

The good part of today was that our dear friend Bob came to take us to lunch. I wasn't going to go, I wanted to just hide in the office and get my work done, but he refused to leave without me. I'm glad I went....he is such a sweetheart, and can always ALWAYS calm me down when I'm upset. His wife Mary went to school with Jay from kindergarten all the way through college. That's a lot of history. It was their oldest son's wedding that we went to a few weeks ago.

Yup - ole friend week here too - call from a friend I worked with for 17 years - we had lunch - caught up on her family -- and she needs my help to talk her son and daughter into taking a Disney Cruise.....

Yes, This is our fourth Disney cruise. I just paid this week and when I go to look at the Cozumel excursions it is there, but when I try to book an excursion, the teen excursion isn't there. I am guessing that means it is full which won't make me very popular at home.

Another thought - since this is on Coz - and there is talk about whether the island is ready or not, they may be holding the bookings until later. I suggest you call DCL or your T/A and ask......

Edited to state - but then Stacey posted she did not see it when she went on line at 105 days, so I would call and ask.....

The best excursion I have seen is on CC - and it is an island adventure type only offered for teens - so can someone with kids, book that for me and I will take there teens place - it's worth a bottle of fairy tale......Better make it a teen girl, not boy.....oh heck, I can pass for 17

Yeah, you just go ahead and trust him.

Here's two experiences from my own life....

#1....Mike went to Disney for TWO WEEKS but did not pack ANY other shorts than the ones he was wearing on the plane ride down. Good thing we were in a villa. I did laundry nearly every night.

#2....my dad went on a 7 day cruise with us and the ONLY pants he had were his jeans he wore on the trip down. Yes. Pirate night, jeans. Formal night, jeans. Palo, jeans.

You MAY want to double check your dh's packing job.

Dis Cruise Line sent a great oversized post card of the Sept 11 day cruises....It is a holographic type, with Mickey, and friends peeking out of banana leaves with the ship in the background, it should be the Wonder but I cannot tell...Anyway, stick on magnets and voila -

That is just way too big a coincidence! What a small world. Tell him he won't be seeing one of those big suites this time! LOL Not something I think we'll ever get lucky enough to do again.
Well....glad to be sailing with you again!!!

By the way, he probably thought I was crabby (I am!) We didn't have a green sock (who would?) and then they wanted to take our Kleenex box....but in that room, they're really nice wood ones, so I wouldn't let them take it, for fear I'd not get it back and have to pay for it!! Mind you, it wasn't just your son, mine was there too!
Edited to add: I did let them take one of my shoes....

Found a good deal on the Hyatt for Wednesday night, reserved a SUV from Budget, and I'm finished. All cruise planning is complete.

Cat for sale - FREEE.......I promise she can jump up on your buffet and knock down all the china St. Patty's decorations so the crash onto the dive gear, (see Jim, I was ready) then onto the wood floor and land on the ceramic tile by the door.....Woke up the entire neighbourhood I am sure....

And it did not break? But I still yelled at the cat...

Don't go too far north as the traffic going south in the morning is really bad and then again going north in the evening sucks too!!!

But will things get better when all of the construction is done and the 3rd lane is added??? Just glad that neither DH nor I have to deal with any of that. Julia, from the map it looked like the perimeter area (off Abernathy).

Yes, I had been looking right at the north part of Alpharetta but where it is in Forsyth county due to taxes? I thought that was about 15 miles, is it closer. I see where Cumming is lots more to drive for sure (just looking on a map) LOL
What do you think of that area for living. Its the taxes that I was told is much better if I could live in the part of Alpharetta thats Forsyth?

We live in unincorporated North Fulton County. Our address is Alpharetta. We're almost to the Forsyth border... probably less than 5 miles. They are working on adding a lane to GA 400 right now. The lane extension will go up to Exit 12 (McFarland). That's where you'll hit the border of Fulton & Forsyth. One thing to note about unicorporated N. Fulton ... there is a big push right now to pass bills that will allow us to vote on becoming a city .. this is both in the north & east unincorporated areas ... 2 different cities. If it passes, we will be voting this summer. We LOVE the area that we live in. The public schools are great. I'm not sure about Forsyth county schools. You'd have to compare. As for traffic on 400. If you're on before 7:00 AM in the morning, your drive should be ok. And for the afternoon .. on before 4:00 PM.

We never REALLY compared taxes. We figured that we picked our area based on convenience (and schools) and we'd just have to suck it up when it comes to taxes! But from what I remember, there really wasn't THAT big of a difference.
