All of my magnets kept turning upside down or switching positions on the door. Everytime I came out of the room it seemed they were in a different configuration.

Then again, my dad was next door and I think THAT had a lot to do with it!!!

The Dad with "no pants" is a door magnet too????? :rotfl2:

Does that mean the scuba gear stays home, or the clothes stay home? Dont' answer that, I already know...

Hope nobody notices we are wearing the same clothes to dinner every night.

now, now, now.... time for kissing and making up!

Just checking in. Anyway, Ashley did well on Saturday nights finals, placing 7th in 50 back, 6 in 200 back and 7 in 100 breast. She was one of only two 11 year olds that placed in the 11-12 age bracket. She also had best times in 2 of those events.

Sunday morning, she qualified again in all 3 events for finals Sunday evening. We never had time to come home, so we were at pool all day. SUnday night she placed 7th in 100 back, 5th in 200 breast and 8 in 100 fly. She had best times in both the breast and fly and was only 2 100ths of a second off of her best in the 100 back. Again, she was one of only a couple of 11 yo's that qualified and she was the highest placed 11 yo in the events she swam. All in all it was a great meet. She was really excited last night, but totally exhausted.

Only 1 more swim meet and the winter season will be over. Thank goodness

YEAH ASHLEY :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer1:

Oh, BTW, I was able to get a Palo brunch on Monday, by changing the quantity from 1/2 to 3/4. I think it is because we are linked with another couple and they allowed us to do that. Would not let me book for only 2. Our friends don't want a brunch, so, we have 2 seats available for brunch on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Let me know if anyone is intereste.

Catching up - we still need brunch please - but only if no one else said yes - yet!

Don't know if this has been answered or not, but as someone who has a little experience in this, let me tell you how I do it.

I wrap glass bottles in bubble wrap. Those all in either a hard sided suit case or carry on. I have never had any problem with them in side a hard sided suite case. Between the bubble wrap and the clothing it all works out.

Beer in cans go in suit cases. I will put them in a baggie just in case.

For the carry ons, I use the rollers or children. If using children I pack their backpacks so it is easier for them.

Hey Amanda - are those kids of your still for rent???????

I was just as Sams they have a cooled bag on wheels that colapses and holds 52 cans, they were about $25.00.

Julia - thanks for the scoop - are they carry on size?

My TA just e-mailed that there is no limit on bags on DCL - but I am not sure her suggested amont of 100 will be accepted by the Porter!!!!!

So, bubble wrap - here I come....I was thinking boxes, then I don't need to carry them home....

Or, perhaps the roll on luggage Julia found...

Decisions, decisions...

Hi Jeri! Did we meet on the 10 day? I'm thinking you might be the young lady I chatted with at the bar in St. Lucia. :drinking:

Hey Sue and Julia!

I am loving the recipe and headed to the store to get supplies now. Just got through making some Malt O Meal for my DD. It was her request, I thought a little odd since it is sunny and warm out but it could be worse so that's what she got. So a little Dole Whip for dessert sounds pretty good. Thanks

I had an e-mail from Stacey. She thinks her hard drive has crashed, so she's still limited to her Treo. Otherwise she'd be posting you know!

Hey Pam,

I'll be interested if I can get it on my own at the 75-day mark ... that way it would still leave yours open for someone else that can't get it. Or should I just be greedy now and take it? If no one else has asked yet, I'll take it and still try at the 75-day mark.

Ang

Sorry Ang, did not see your post - you really need to be greedy on this, if they will let you take it and not risk the 75 day. But if you don't know - go for the 75 day as well......

We are going to cruise Alaska in September and I cannot wait, save for those excursions as they are really pricey.

I will be glad to take full advantage of all your planning skills.... :thumbsup2

Hi, yes I am the "young lady" :rotfl: That makes me giggle just to type it, thank you for that. So good to hear from you, I hope that 2005 was a good year for you and your family. It seemed to fly by for us as I was traveling a whole lot for work. I am so very glad that I booked our 2006 cruises while on the Holiday cruise. It seemed along way off back then but it sure seems to have come around fast.
