Good news, I got a few things on my list completed. I got our air booked and first night hotel sorted. We will be arriving Friday night around 7pm and staying at the Marriott at the Airport. This is partially due to the fact that I had already paid for the DCL bus from the airport. So we will be able to catch the first one in the morning and get to the port around noon.

Next is to finish the booking with Disney for that 3-4 days after cruise. But I got interupted to cut out American Girl paper dolls for DD.

Glad things seem to be coming together!

We will be in Orlando the night before the cruise....Is anyone interested in meeting up for dinner at one of the parks or resort restaurants? We rented DVC points and we will be staying at OKW....Can anyone give me info about getting the dining plan?

Hi Amanda,

We will be driving down and staying at SSR the night before the cruse. We have PS booked for Ohana's at the Poly for 5:30. It would be GREAT if you would like to join us there!! :teeth: :teeth: We have the dining plan for the day after the cruise. We are staying at VWL that night. We booked the dining plan through DVC Member Services when we made our room ressie. I don't know how else to go about it. You might be able to do it when you check in.

:confused3 My DH and I were wondering if anyone else on the cruise would be interested in playing some Mah Jong. We could bring our set. We play with the Wright-Patterson rules.

I started to learn to play after my trip to Hong Kong. Found a decent tutorial that you could play on a Palm computer. I would love to learn to play the actual game -- I do not hold out any hope for Mo to learn though... :rolleyes1

We'll be getting into Orlando late on Friday night (around 11:30, I think), and we're staying at the AmeriSuites Orlando Airport Northwest. Same place we stayed last year before our ill-fated cruise. Nice place, though, with a good shuttle service - isn't that all that matters?

Anyone else staying there? We could try to meet up for breakfast on Saturday before heading out on our adventure!

Dark Chocolate Mousse

1 pint heavy whipping cream
¾ sugar
3 oz Baker’s Unsweetened Chocolate squares (Orange box)

Melt chocolate in a double-boiler

While chocolate is melting place cream and sugar in mixer fitted with a balloon whip. Whip on medium speed for 2-3 minute to dissolve sugar then turn to high and whip until medium-hard peaks form.

Now for the hard part. Remove chocolate from heat. Using a wire whisk, transfer approximately 1 – 1 ½ cups of whipping cream to the bowl with the melted chocolate and mix quickly with whisk until thoroughly combined. If you add too much the chocolate will seize – if you add too little then it will not combined well with the whipped cream – either one will leave you with great tasting, but grainy mousse.

Pour the chocolate mixture into the bowl with the remaining whipped cream and gently fold until it is all combined.

White Chocolate Mouse

1 pint heavy whipping cream
10 oz white chocolate squares (I use Baker’s brand)
2-4oz Rum

Place rum and chocolate in top of double boiler and heat until chocolate is melted and smooth.

Whip cream in a mixer with balloon whip until hard peaks form

Using a whisk transfer about 1/3 of the whipped cream to the bowl with the chocolate (The white chocolate is not a critical as the dark chocolate) Mix thoroughly with the whisk.

Pour the chocolate mixture into the bowl with the remaining whipped cream and gently fold until it is all combined. The White chocolate mousse will be runny at this point but will set up in the refrigerator.

Chill and enjoy!
:woohoo:

Does this mean you have updated your cell with internet access??

Have fun!!

No, we updated the office laptop with a PC card and Verizon.

We needed the lap top so we can tie into our server in NY through our VPN. Now they will never know if I'm diving or working at the office. :cool1:

It was a true family sharing trip on the way to WDW this morning - Sharon and Lisa watched a movie on the DVD in the middle, Matt used the lap top and internet in the back to do homework, and I listened to XM while driving. No one talked. I can't decide if that is sad or happy?! :confused3
