I didn't take any pictures ... sort of wish I had. There is clean-up progress being made. I didn't see much rebuilding going on yet. There are lots of gutted houses & businesses. As Irene has said about FL, I think the problem now is getting workers to actually do the work to rebuild & repair.

Someone sent me this website. It is from the Biloxi, MS newspaper. Some of the after pictures looked exactly as what we saw this weekend... so not much has changed.

Web page update!Something I've been wanting to do for a while but just haven't had the time. I've added deck plans to the web page. Pick a deck and when you click on it then the deck plan will pop up. All the DIS rooms have been colored lime green. Enjoy!

It's only been over 9 years, 158,000 miles, and many dives trip....but today the dive van got traded in. It's a big day for us, we are without a minivan.


I ended up getting the Honda Pilot because it can haul all our dive gear.

It was hard getting rid of the van, but once the head liner started falling down on Sharon I knew it was time.

Love my Pilot and hope I can say that in another 9 years, 150,000 miles later.

Hi there! I'm new to this group, but admittedly have been lurking on and off for awhile! It is intimidating for me to jump right in since you all already have well over 1000 pages to this thread!!!

I'll start off by introducing the fam:
We have my DH Paul , DS1 Adam (15) , and DS2(13) , as well as myself, Susan . We live in CT where it is 33 degrees and are looking forward to the May 27th cruise which will be our 2nd DCL cruise.

We have 6pm dining rotation and are linked with MIL & FIL and another family (friends of ours).

We look forward to meeting new friends, so please ask questions and I'd love to know more about all of you---w/o reading every page!!!

Question please... how do you pronouce your DS 10 name? Is it like K.C or is it like case?? Also, I love your name but I find myself reading it as "she-ann" fow whatever reason! LOL then it dawned on me that it is probably like the city, Cheyenne, right? I am a doofus....

Congrats on the new vehicle!! I have a 2002 Oddessy and now 86,000 miles later..I still LOVE it!! Honda's aren't even broke in all the way untill 100,000 Mi.

Kace...like case. I understand the She-ann..I've worked at the same place for over 18 yrs..the guard has ALWAYS called me that. But it is like Cheyenne... You are NOT a dofus! You would have to know my Mom ...my sister's name is Shazan (NOT Shazam!).

Welcome to Susan from the other Susan. We are also a military family. However, we're Air Force. No competition like the Michigan/Ohio State crew. We'll keep it nice.

Cruise is paid off Well it's on the Discover waiting to be paid off. I'm ready to book excursions on Sunday. And, no I'm not getting up in the middle of the night to do it!




Stacey, what are those times that you booked for snorkeling at Castaway Cay? I want to book on of those. Probably the first day is better for us. .
