Irene, I don't think we can post travel agent stuff here anymore. Can you even change after final payment is made?

Angie, good reminder that the gulf coast is a long way from being restored. I think we tend to forget about it after a while.

Yippee, I assume your 14 year old is a girl? Don't know about all of them, but the teen girls in our group sure enjoyed dressing up! They even had a "pageant" a couple of nights! The parents liked it, because we were able to get some good family portraits. Here is Alicia (13 at the time), and Jordan (14 at the time). Alicia is ours and Jordan is Stacey's. Sorry you can't see the whole dress:

Just another example or two of why Matt is looking forward to the crusie. :rotfl:

For those men that wear suits on formal night, do they wear the same suit for semi-formal night? And, Palo for that matter? Is that acceptable? DH only has 1 suit and I know that he won't want to spend any more $ to rent a tux. Of course, I'd have him change the shirt he wears each night. :lmao:

Oh NO!! We have a different suit for each night!! Must not be caught wearing the same thing twice....... :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Ha! as if you girls would notice anyway!!!

Actually, I've worn the Tux for the formal nights, black suit for semi-formal and changed the ties and the heels...........

This is a sample of the artwork. You can't see the detail on the cone, however the cone party will be darker because it will be filled with a dot pattern. The Cone will be on the front and the wording on the back. I think it looks pretty cool. What do you all think. She is still working on the order form and should have by tomorrow.

Pam,

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Pam - the design looks good. Looks like she tweaked the colors a bit but they stand out nice on the grey. Good job!

Jim - not sure if we'll get the coupon book. May have only been for those sailing over Valentine's day. If we do you can have my drink coupon! :drinking1

Mark will wear the same suit both nights but change shirts/ties.

The shirt design looks nice. I hadn't planned on getting shrits but think I'll be getting one for at least myself ... need to PM Maria.

Thanks to Pam, Maria, Mark & Mary for all of your hard work!

Hi everyone,

I'm very excited. DH just asked me what everyone is wearing on formal night. Who wears a Tux or suit? Which is the majority with you guys?

Ray is wearing a tux, as he owns one...

Whoever mentioned JCP's $99 sale, their 'higher-end' tuxes are usually on sale at the same time, and pretty reasonable. The $99 ones are a set- jacket and pants, no mix and match on sizes... great for a normal, proportioned person... NOT great for a former linebacker... so he couldn't get by with the bargain one.

I'm wearing a gown for formal night, and an LBD for semi-formal... no idea what the kids will be wearing... Elizabeth is BUGGING me to go shopping...

Penney's web site has tux coats $70, and pants $30 separate from coats. Looks like we'll order DH one online and just get DS a suit or rent him a tux. I'll be wearing whatever I fit into at cruise time. Either a black cocktail dress (I hope) or long black skirt and dressy top.

Top?? YES. It's been awhile. I'm usually setting up everyone else for a TOP. :confused3 :cool1:

Thanks for everyone posting what they are wearing. Being the first DCL and formal night, semi-formal and then Palo. He has a sport coat and I guess we'll just change shirts/ties. Rather would spend the money on something else. Or, he may want to go shopping. Woooppiieee! The big problem is ME. Trying to lose weight, but we all know what kind of a challenge that is. I'd rather meet all you people a little lighter than I am right now. I'm trying hard.

Thanks again.

Pam - excellent design. I love it. Thanks for all your help. Basically, you did the shirts, I'm just taking names down. And when the order form is on Mary's website, it's all over for me. YOU really did all the work. Thank you, thank you, thank you.:worship: :worship: :worship:

Maria,

Since we'll be technically ordering the shirts & bags ourselves, I don't really need to let you know that I now want a shirt??? Were you just getting a ballpark figure to determine cost? Just let me know if I need to give you any info.

Charley and Dale will be wearing black suits. Ashley already has a really nice long black/white formal to wear, and I don't know what I will wear yet. Need to start hitting the wedding stores, because I couldn't find anything I like at Dillards. If all else fails, I will wear the midnight blue formal I bought for last cruise.

Aren't we supposed to recycle our dresses on subsequent cruises? I mean, where else are we going to wear them? I haven't been to a prom in a while!

Mary, I'll trade you my free game of bingo for your drink coupon. :thumbsup2

Hey, I'll be in the market for bingo coupons too! I'll give up a drink coupon! Kevin's, that is.

So is anyone else here a Disney shareholder? We bought Alicia some shares when she was born, the value has increased from $400 to a huge $600 in the past almost 15 years, but the Annual Report is sure fun to browse through. We got it today, it has the cast of POC Dead Man's Chest on the cover.
