So I showed the doctor my "stab wound"...and I said it really hurt. And he said "Yes, that's the Lord's way of reminding us to not stab ourselves again". Smarty-pants.


And I agree with KT....ER sounds better than ED....why did they change it, anyway??

Eek, that's one sick kid. Sorry to hear it, I know it's as hard on Mom (in so many ways) as it is on the patient. Your doctor's pretty funny though.

Kevin....question....I think I'm going to get Jay and Jared and I new fins. I want to get the shorter, split fins. They have the adjustable strap heel...does that mean we have to wear booties with them...or can I wear my snorkel sox, or go barefoot?

I would wear a bootie, but you could go barefoot. However, it will be rough on your ankles. I don't think snorkel sox will give much protection either. I have not used soxs before. The straps are not soft so they could cut into bare flesh.

I like booties because they have a solid bottom which makes walking around the beach very easy and safe. I don't worry about glass, stones, etc. They are easy to pack too.

Oh, pooor Jordan. Well good time to load up on the movies and chicken noodle soup. I know as a kid though they hate to be held down for any reason.

Although I think to myself that I'd LOVE to have a few days on the couch, actually it would stress me out thinking of all the things that wouldn't be getting done!

Your doctor has a pretty funny sense of humor.

I told KT that the reason they changed it is because it's not just a ROOM...it's a lot of "little rooms." And when I say "little" I do mean that!! So the big wig ER ppl changed it to represent more than one "room."

Who knows if that's true, but she bought it. And then told me, again, that she liked ER better.

Hey, if they changed it to ED, why is the TV show still called ER?

That's funny. We have friends...Karen and Doug. They live in our town, homeschool, and he's our yard man---cuts, trims, landscapes, etc. Well, everytime I email them I CANNOT spell his name. I type out "DOUG" but then ALWAYS add an "H" to the end. So I'll by typing and say: Hey, Karen, tell Dough that the yard....

then I have to go back and delete the H. Don't know what it is...too fast I guess....

I think he should legally change his name to Dough.

Oh my gosh! That is our house!!! I'm always telling Mike that kinda stuff. "when I push here really hard it hurts." DUH....
