I took Molly to the vet today, even though Sharon wanted me to deal with an issue with her car. My sleep is more important!

Molly has an infection and we are treating with drugs. Hopefully that will take care of it, but if not an ultrasound is next.

The best part of the vet visit was watching the tech get a urine sample from the dog. Every time Molly squated the tech would rush in with her tupperware. Makes me appreciate my job!!

Matt had to comment that I won't let Lisa take Advil when she hurts herself at the gym unless there is blood, but yet we have the dog on mediciation.

Hope she is better now ..... and maybe some Advil in the gym bag?

Well, a glimmer of good news here. KT's eye pressures are down....slightly. They were 27 and 31. They are now 25 and 28. Eye pressures can fluctuate hour by hour, day by day, so although they are "better" they are still going to watch her closely. Also her visual field testing was fine. No loss of peripheral vision.

But I'm not letting you of the hook in sending prayers and PD for that other unknown thing. ;)

btw, GREAT job, LISA and ASHLEY!! :cheer2:

We will take good news a glimmer at a time... :tink:

OM, that does sound like good news, glad to hear it.

Are we the only Netflix subscribers here? Just wondering if anybody else has trouble getting new releases? They always say "long wait" and get skipped over, even if they're at the top of my queue.

That's not too big a surprise, the local video stores have the same kind of problems, 40 copies of some garbage movie 'guaranteed' there and the 10 or less of the one everyone was waiting for dvd to see are perpetually out for a straight month. But I thought the big pitch with Netflix was to avoid exactly that scenario..

It depends - Veggie Tales "Lord of the Bean" said long wait - and that was skipped over for awhile and finally came in last week.

Star Wars was at the top with a "Very Long Wait" and we got it right away...Polar Express also received right away...I think it depends on what returns come in at your shipping facility at the same time as your returns are processed.

24 season 4 - I shuffled around for awhile because I didn't want the 2nd disc to come in before the 1st...

one more, but then again there are pirates in these here waters....

TOP????

that was a challenge with the "server busy" messages!

Karen (OM) - you mentioned that you saw the DVC Welcome Home Magnets on your recent cruise. Someone on the SSMC06 thread just came back from a Magic cruise and said those were put up by the DVC folks on the first night on rooms booked with points. Guess we won't be seeing them on the May cruise as we booked with cash but maybe we can stop by the DVC desk and get some.

We booked with DVC points on our ruise in sepember and never got the magnets.

I think the magnets are something they just started. We first got them on the DVC Member Cruise. I'm wondering if they just started using them after the first of the year.

Stacey,

I saw that one, too. I would LOVE a casino on the cruise. But, I guess it doesn't go with the Disney image. Like one poster said, it doesn't have to be a "smokey" room. I think I'm in the minority on that post. I was thinking of posting, but changed my mind.

maria

I agree with you, I love the casino, haven't looked at the thread yet but on Princess they are not too bad with the smoke, we did the Carnival Paradise while it was smoke free and it was 11 nights of heaven to not even smell smoke outside.
We are off to Vegas on Friday!!!

Well that would explain it although DS was given a mickey hand fan from the Canal crossing that came to bring our ship back.

OK all you DCL Veterans... cruise question... as we haven't cruised DCL before...

All of the jeep/dune buggy/truck excursions say age 10 and up... is that a DCL thing, or, if we booked them privately, would we be able to get Christopher in (he'll be 9... and is a jeep/truck/dune buggy fanatic). Also, are any of them worth it?????

Usually Disney does set the age requirements higher than the tour operator. The only other differences usually wind up being price(I've seen both higher and lower on both ways) and the rule if it's a Disney excursion they are going to wait for a late tour. Book it yourselves don't have that safety net.

Not sure if this wil help, but we had a similar age issue with our November cruise. She tried to book her daughter through Disney, and they would not waive the age requirement. Then she tried to book direct, but since the tour she selected was also serving Disney, she could not get her daughter on it, which meant the entire family could not go. Others had luck if they selected a tour not linked with Disney and one family contacted the tour first and was able to go.......??????????

We did not get them in November and we used DVC points, so maybe --- ok, who knows...?????

Tell me about the series please. I was thinking of enrolling Mother in Netflix, but how do you "juggle" to make sure you get the series in order? Can you specify it? Thanks...
