I am leaving Arizona today and heading for a visit with the OhioMouse family.

It looks like it may rain here, so I'm leaving just in time. Besides, it's kind of boring here without any kids to play with. Except the hairy one, and he makes me nervous!

Hey Scoopie - have a safe trip to Ohio! Looks like you are leaving just in time. That puppy looks like he wants an ice cream treat!

If Scoopie wants to avoid wet weather, he should come back to NM! We don't know what that is here. No snow either. Just dry, dry, dry. My skin is kind of like sandpaper.

Hello!

It's my first chance to "Dis" since Thursday.....I hope nothing major came up, as I really don't have the time to go back.

Kelly's meet went well on Friday. (despite her falling during her vault  )

Had a great meal with the Scuba's. We'd never been to Tony's. I liked it!!!!

Well, since Dave is picking Kelly up from gym tonight, :woohoo: maybe I should do something productive.....like laundry, since she and I fly out Friday for her next meet.

Wait, it will change.......

Wednesday: A chance of snow showers before 11am, then a chance of rain showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 49. Southeast wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

and we are pouring concrete for a foundation tomorrow!! :guilty:

Never fails :furious:

Take me with you, take me with you...please, please, please!!! I haven't been to Vegas since our honeymoon in '94. Have a great time. Where are you staying?

Maria

I haven't been since 1992, before we moved to the US so I'm probably in for a shock. We are staying at the Monte Carlo, we are booked for Ricky Martin on Friday night and 'O' on Saturday night.

Good morning all!

Figure I better get in one post this morning before I start getting "Server Busy" messages. I'll have to go read the webmasters post.

Hope everyone has a great Tues. At least our weather is supposed to be a little better here in GA.

Ang

Aren't we just having the greatest weather today after 3 days of rain, rain and more rain.

Ok. I need your creative minds. Emily came home today with a hand-out. The kindergartens are to create a snowman out of 2 white plastic garbage bags (kitchen size) and decorate however they want. It's a contest. I'm sure creativity will win. My first thought is to decorate in a Mardi Gras theme as I'm in full Mardi Gras mode now (as much as I can be living in GA) and we have tons of Mardi Gras paraphanalia (sp?) (bead, doubloons, masks, t-shrits, etc) around the house. Then I came to post this here and thought ... there must be something Disney we could do. So ... I need some thoughts ... Mardi Gras? Disney? Or something else?

Ang

Cool. :cool1: A T.O.P. with Emily, her snowman project and all of my DIS friends with creative minds!!! :thumbsup2

When my sister and I were there in '03, we just hopped a cab- we split it with some others going the same way... it was around $10. Once you get there, there is a fee to get in the park (can't remember how much... $10? $15?...). Not sure if they take walk-ups for the dolphin experience thing, but I think they do. We won't be doing the dolphin thing... if I am going to pay for dolphins, it will be at Discovery Cove, not Cozumel.

And there were plenty of cabs lined up to take people back to the pier as well... definitely not a problem there.

I'm hoping to do discovery cove as soon as my DS8 is DS10, I would love to do the sleepover thing but just watching the prices go up yearly!!

That means you'll be one stop closer to spending some time with our family. I thought the time would never get here and now it's right around the corner. Safe travels Scoopie!

Cool, he's coming to GA and I hope he chooses some great weather if he doesn't like rain.

I'm still stuck on the "snowman out of two plastic bags"...let alone the decorating. I couldn't figure out how to make one, let alone decorate. Told you I wasn't creative!

Scoopie is on his way! He got all teary on me at the last minute.....:sad1:

I guess I should have said 2 white garbage bags (kitchen size). We'll stuff them with newspaper, I guess.

Why not combine the themes and do Pirates of the Caribbean?

I feel your pain Diana - We have now had over 100 days with no moisture here in the desert.:cool2:
