I just told them that Santa must have dropped it on accident at another home and they mailed it to us! LOL My oldest, CJ, looked at me like yeah right...He knows about Santa I think! LOL They love it!

But it's true! :santa: :santa: :santa: I can fit in the suit!

There were ADULTS trying to climb over the fence with spikes! It's the ornamental-type fencing, with pickets that look like arrow heads. Unbelievable. They said because it was Chinese New Year...this week was more crowded.
But for heaven sake......it will still be there next week, and the week after......

A T.O.P. with crazy Hong Kong Disney Fans!
and Amanda :goodvibes
Oh I feel so bad for the little kid though..at least an adult makes their own decisions but that poor kid, you know he was probably petrified....WOW I just cant believe how the mob mentality is... anywho...It looked to me like you said you shared the top with Hong Kong and Crazy AManda! LOL But then I did a double take! LOL

This is the other one I liked (besides Thumper) but I didn't use him, because he's Mary's favorite....

I guess I really should go get ready for that shower.....I hope I perk up a little once I get there, right now I am just soooo tired. :cat:

Yes, we divide up the kid duties too, or else it just wouldn't happen. Although Jay has not yet had the joy of taking the girls to the gym for stunt practice.....and I have a feeling he never will.
.

Yes, I would agree doing gym duty to transport Lisa and her friend Aubrey to or from gym is not something Jim likes to do. I don't mind and he takes the late Karate practice, picking Matt up from school (I do the drop off). Something we started last year and works well is I take Matt to breakfast once a week and Jim takes Lisa on a different day once a week. We found that we each ended up spending a lot more time with one child rather than the other, so this helps us connect better with the other. Somehow Jim can find a a lot of common ground with Matt with Scuba Diving, Hiking, etc and I can connect easier with Lisa's activities, so breakfast alone with the opposite child is working great for us.

About the stuff that happened at HK Disneyland... I read the article and I was quite annoyed at how it was portrayed as a Disney problem and Disney is all apologetic/etc.
What?
How is it there fault that they all decided to come that weekend and it was too full? You don't see mayhem like this happening on Christmas day (or any other super busy day) at WDW when they have to close the gates and not allow more people in! The article had people complaining that they sell too many tickets without dates. Well they do the same here- you buy the tickets, it doesn't guarantee you in the door if they are overcrowded that day! :confused3 I fail to see how Disney can control that. Are they supposed to sell tickets only with certain dates on them now? geesh I hope they never do that here!

-- oh and btw, show of hands of people here that would want to fight their way into a park that was closed due to capacity met? Not me..... what's the point. You'll spend your day in lines and only ride a ride or two. Yanno?

(oh and I do not find fault with the parents who's child was put over the fence- it sounds like the parents were already inside and he wasn't. Unless they were able to go OUT to be with their child- but it sounds like it was a mob there and that might not have been possible. Other choice would have been what- to just go enjoy the rides while their small child was on the other side of the fence in the mob there??? If I was stuck inside and couldn't get out because of the mob trying to get in or because they wouldn't open the gates and let me out- BECAUSE of the mob trying to get in- better believe I'd be asking someone to try to hand me my child over the fence! Or I guess I'd stand there at the fence holding my child thru the fence and we'd both end up injured from the mob? I dunno... seems like a bad situation and they made the only decision they could, maybe?)

Hi, everyone!! I'm back from WDW.

I arrived the last day of the EE preview. FP's all gone by the time I got there so I had to stand in a 90+minute standby line. Yes, it was worth it!!! :thumbsup2

Lots and lots of Steelers fans there this past week!! GO STEELERS!!!

I think I have about 40 pages to catch up on - not sure I'll be able to do it!! What did I miss?

Ya know, I never did catch up after the cruise. And now I'm having so much with the current pages that I can't pull myself away to catch up!

Can someone PLEASE tell me what Il pochi il fiero i blabbermouths means? I've tried all the translation places online and none of them are translating to english... it's driving me crazy. What's it mean? LOL

The few, the proud, the blabbermouths.

I still don't know why they think we are blabbermouths! ;)

Thanks so much!

Okay that is what I GUESSED it was (because one translation did say "the proud" in the middle of it but didn't translate the rest) but the few?

THE FEW?

We're not the few... we're like the lots... the many... LOL I wonder how many people are going on this cruise from DIS and how it compares to other cruises? I wonder if there is a higher amount of DIS'ers going on this cruise than others?
The few my hiney. LOL

Now blabbermouths I'll agree with, I can't keep up with this thread if my life depended on it. LOL

Ha! A T.O.P. with the whole BLABBIN' GROUP!!

It's a take-off of the Marine Corp slogan.

What makes me wonder about the child being handed over the fence in Hong Kong.....why was the kid NOT with his/her parents in the first place??? I couldn't imagine a situation where I got that (far) separated from one of mine.

Jay takes Jordan to her 6 am practices, so they have that time together....and I try to make different times with Jared, so we don't fall into that whole boy/boy girl/girl thing. I guess it's pretty handy that we had one of each!

Well, I WILL say, this cruise will have one of the highest percentages of the COOL DISers. ;)

We are "few" compared to the total number of DISers......just like there aren't only a few Marines....we're just the FEW who are the BEST!

ok, i need ppl to go over to my ebay stuff and bid it up. i told my mom that castaway club towels just went for $28 so she gave me hers to sell on ebay. it only has a couple of days left and it has ONE bid...$9.99!! But umpteen watchers. What are they waiting for? Now me, I won't bid till the end, but I expect the ppl bidding on MY stuff to bid high and bid early. :)

Grrrr.
