I understand. You're a busy guy. Thanks for doing it!!
I have "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" on my iPod but just can't force myself to listen to it. The book was bad enough. WHY I picked it from audible I have no clue!

rub it in, why don't you!?!?!?!

Why don't you package up some of that sunshine and sent it my way!! We have grey and cloudy and rainy......again.

I wish someone would send some rain this way! I think we are at Day # 107 without. My well is going to run dry at this rate.

The taxi was already in service this morning. Jordan had four girls spend the night last night. I would say "sleep over"...but none of them slept. Neither did I. I'm just a hair crabby today. But I got them all delivered to where they needed to be already.
Now it's time to get ready for a "Co-Ed" wedding shower. Seems to be all the rage lately...but I still think it must bore the daylights out of the men. Heck, most of them bore the daylights out of me!
This one might be a lot of fun though. It's at one of Jay's life-long friend's....the guy is a blast. When I told Jay that they were having a shower, Jay called Bob and asked him if he had to bring his own towel.....and without missing a beat, Bob said "No. I hired a midget with a squeegee". Guess you had to be there, but it was funny.

We aren't talking because we have been in the kitchen cooking!! And yes, I do use a crock pot. :snooty:

And he can cook some wonderful meals in it. My favorites are chili (chicken or beef) and ribs. YUM YUM.

OK, here I am, the amsoniac...It's 2:23 and I'm awake. Have been for at least and hour now. I'll be hurting tomorrow. And what am I doing? Surfing the DISboards.

Most of you that know Virgil probably already know this, but he did a good deed this week. I, too, am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan (like Virgil). Well, I couldn't find a Steelers shirt in NY and asked Virgil if he knew of a place that might have one. Well, he went out of his way and picked up a T-shirt for me and mailed it out and I already got it. I think that's one of the nicest things someone has ever done for me in a long time and I wanted to share it with everyone.

Thank you, again, Virgil. Just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate it and I will tell everyone where and who got me my shirt.

GO STEELERS!!!!

Aw Virgil..........what a sweetie pie!!!!!!!!!

That, Dear Maria, is the power of this thread. I've seen things like this happen repeatedly.

Virgil's a good guy, I'm not surprised he did that for you!
It is also one of the many many reasons that i heart Stacey!!!!!1:love:

It's not like they wouldn't stoop to it, it's that they have the TIME to cook....
now, if they picked up cooking, cleaning, childcare, laundry and errands, they TOO would be "stooping" and using a crock pot!!

:)

Well, in our house we do pretty well divide up the "chores" or everything that needs to get done wouldn't happen and both kids wouldn't get where they need to. For example, today I had the gym run with Lisa and Jim has the athletic shoe run with Matt. Tomorrow, Jim will take Lisa to Cotillion and I will take Matt to a bowling party with the Church Youth Group. Then each Sunday night when we take the kids to Church Youth Group - Jim and I go out to dinner - because it is the only event they do together.

Yes, we divide up the kid duties too, or else it just wouldn't happen. Although Jay has not yet had the joy of taking the girls to the gym for stunt practice.....and I have a feeling he never will.
He cooks on the weekends too, and is pretty darn good. Last weekend, he made a killer homemade chicken noodle soup.

Amanda, sorry to hear about your new schedule. I work 7-4 and can't imagine having to switch to 10-7. What's it doing to your family life??? It would totally screw mine up as the girls go to school for 7:20 a.m., we have dinner at 6:00 p.m. and they are going to bed by 8:00 p.m.

Ang
Ang,
It is not good....Luckily i have an awesome sitter..but I tell ya when I was told my hours would change I had a minor break down, as I know that she does not like keeping kids to much after 5pm let alone 7 pm..and the kids do TKD that the classes are all before then...I called my Angie (our sitter) up in a tizzy and she agreed to continue keeping them, as she loves them and feels that this would already be an adjustment to their schedule. If we pulled them out of TKD and moved them to a different day care (yeah as if there is a daycare open after 630p!) would be even worse on them. SO for now the daycare is okay...whew....but it is wreking havoc on our home life right now...sigh...I just keep hoping that it wont last long. THe reason given was that there were complaints about not being able to get help after 4pm...It has been a week, and Ihavent gotten the 1st call after 5......so only time will tell....thanks for asking though..it is nice to know that someone cares..

Hi, everyone!! I'm back from WDW.

I arrived the last day of the EE preview. FP's all gone by the time I got there so I had to stand in a 90+minute standby line. Yes, it was worth it!!! :thumbsup2

Lots and lots of Steelers fans there this past week!! GO STEELERS!!!

I think I have about 40 pages to catch up on - not sure I'll be able to do it!! What did I miss?

The gates were closed at HK Disney because of capacity. Visitors mobbing and unruly to get inside...One child was passed over the fence to get to his parents inside...
WHAT??? OH my....:guilty:

From said article..
"One unhappy child had to be passed by the throng atop the spikes of the gates to his parents inside, in a scene played repeatedly on local television. ":scared1:

There were ADULTS trying to climb over the fence with spikes! It's the ornamental-type fencing, with pickets that look like arrow heads. Unbelievable. They said because it was Chinese New Year...this week was more crowded.
But for heaven sake......it will still be there next week, and the week after......

A T.O.P. with crazy Hong Kong Disney Fans!
and Amanda :goodvibes

Stacy - Lisa wants me to tell you that she LOVES your Thumper Picture. She agreed to go back to her homework, if I would tell you that. Thank you for motivating my child back to her studies.
