We are out of here....going to WDW!!!

We are meeting Fran tonight for dinner at Tony's in MK. Tomorrow Lisa competes at WWS. Matt is a little bumbed that the games don't start earlier tomorrow, but I know he will still enjoy AllSports at WWS.

Time to fight MCO traffic again, for the third time this week. :guilty:

Kikipug, if you swing by our house throw some food out to Molly. She is spending the night outside. I know she won't be waking me up.

Have a good trip Scuba's and good luck to Lisa!

Thanks, Jim.....all I have to go by is the Kelley Blue Book that I ran....and apparently, the insurance company told Megan that they usually pay better than Blue Book. We'll see. I am not the type to fight over something like that....but if Blue Book says $5000....I don't want them to tell her $1000..and have her take it! She's going to have to buy another car. BTW...it's State Farm....we've been with the same agent for almost 20 years, and never had a claim...except a broken windshield a couple of times.

State Farm will treat you well. You have the internet to help set the price. Go on line and start looking for used cars just like her's. Find comparables, same year, model, make. Make adjustments for mileage and features. That is the best way to determine the value.

The theory is that need to put you back into the same position as you were before the accident. Ideally they would drive up with an identical car for her, but sense that is not practical they look what similar cars in a similar condition are selling for.

We use to go through newspaper classified ads looking for comps. Now you can use the internet.

Being I spent many years on the other side fixing the cars, I'd say the same thing, State Farm is one of the better ones, and should give you good value for it.

Did you guys see the cute new smilies?

Here is my favorite: :dumbo:

Yeah a top with me and Dumbo!

:stir: :offtopic:

Hey look, they added a couple just for our thread!! Except, the Off Topic guy should be smiling.

I have new smiles, but I don't have Dumbo or the Off Topic guy. Why are mine different? I particularly like this one.... :rainbow: and this one... :sail:

Not too many posters today...where is everyone?

When you open up the large smilie box there are 3 different sections. One just of Disney ones which is where Dumbo is.

I really love the new smilies:smickey: :tink:

AJ - HAPPY BIRTHDAYparty:

Mary - Great job on the green acres theme.

Hello all!

We've been dryer shopping today. No fun!

Good luck to the gymnasts in the group.

Happy Birthday AJ. Tomorrow is DH Bruce's b-day ... he's quite a bit old than AJ though .party:

I love all of the new smilies. I like this Mickey. :smickey:

And did anyone notice there's one just for us ... the pot stirrer!!! :stir: Oops ... didn't notice that Diana had already noted that.

:sail:I can't believe we sail in 18 weeks. Still no packet from Disney for me. I am waiting to see how long it takes to get one since the TA called Disney about it.

Busy weekend here for us. Ashley is in a two day swim meet here in town. We just got home a little while ago. She did pretty good 2 3rd places and 2 4th places. She had 3 best times and unfortunately, in her best event, she had a worse time, which did not make her very happy. She is in good standing for a possible all-around award (goes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd). Hopefully she will have a good day tomorrow.pixiedust:

We also have music lessons this weekend to prepare for the Solo/Ensemble competition next weekend for both kids. It will be Ashley's first time and she isn't used to being accompanied by anyone. Dale made the local youth symphony, but the final performance would be while we were gone to Disney this summer, so we declined.

We are thinking of going to see Glory Road tonight. Have any of you seen it. It is about our own Texas Western (now Univ. of Texas at El Paso). My parents always tell stories about the night they won. Of course I don't remember, I was only 5.

Went to the Family Dollar store a while ago to get trash bags and I found an over the door shoe holder and mesh laundry bag duo for $4. went ahead and bought that for the cruise. I made another payment last week and am down to $370 balance which I want to pay by Feb. 15.

Have a great weekend everyone:rainbow:

I cannot specify the exact reasoning right now, but if you are so inclined, please pray for our family. I know that God will know our needs and your intent. Right now pray for discernment and peace....hopefully next for thanksgiving, but we'll have to wait and see.

p.s. God knows me as "ohiominnie" so feel free to use that name. ;) ;)

Thanks Jim & Mark...I feel a little better knowing that we'll probably have good luck with State Farm...although I'm holding my breath for Ohminnie's story....

Love the new smilies! How fun!!

I was running this morning with the kids...now I am sitting here copying the pictures that we had made of Jay's Dad's slides (they're on disk) to separate disks for his brother and sister. I figured I may as well get them done so that I can give them to them next week.
I could have done a million other things today (like my invoices) but it's good to get these off my mind. It takes me about 30 minutes to do 2 disks, and we have a total of 12 that I need to copy (twice).

Back to it, I guess.....

:snail: :snail: :snail: :snail: I love these!!

Karen - we will definately keep you in our prayers. Know that if you need anything we can help with we're only a pm away.

The new smileys are great, but the pug doesn't work... so now I had to take him out of my siggy... :guilty: ... when you put the pug smiley in (as in kikiPUG), you get this instead... :pug:
