I think I am now "one up" on Martha Stewart. I just finished vacuuming the inside of my dishwasher.

Okay, fine...here's the deal...and I can already hear Mark and Virgil laughing their butts off. Not even going to THINK about Jim....

Anyway....last night I noticed some hard, black stuff on the bottom of the dishwasher. Turns out, hard water deposits had formed on the heating coil. And it's really thick. So I ran it with a bunch of vinegar to see if that would help, but it didn't. So then I scraped at it with a hard brush. That got some of it, so I had to vacuum that out. Now I am trying to gently chip away at it with a small hammer.

Won't Jay be surprised when he walks in the door and sees my backside hanging out of the dishwasher, and me with a hammer?

It's not THAT big a deal! Then again, it is more than twice the size of what the four of us just shared on Norwegian....maybe it IS a palace!


The one thing I will truly LOVE about being back in one of DCL's suites?? I had thought that it would be the extra toilet....nope....it's the extra SINK! I sent the "boys" to the public potties out by the pool alot....but we still had to use just one sink to brush our teeth, get a drink, rinse a cup....
Funny what you don't appreciate, until you don't have it!

That is what I love the most, the kids not fighting over who was there to brush teeth first, we make a guys/girls and it is easier than 1 between 4 people.

That is what I love the most, the kids not fighting over who was there to brush teeth first, we make a guys/girls and it is easier than 1 between 4 people.

I think this time, though, since we'll have two teenage girls (heaven help me)..we'll let the two girls have the bathroom in the hall and have Jared share with us. At least there's the extra sink at the wet bar. DCL spoils me so!

I made the mistake of thinking about reserving spa time. Started searching, and found pictures of the new Spa Villas. Holy cow. Really expensive...but really NICE! Now to see if A. We can afford it. and B. If Jay will do it.
Somehow, it doesn't sound like much fun to do it by yourself.

On our last cruise some people just share the spa with some one else if the spouse didn't want to do it, I think it was on the Princess ship.
