I think you are!

Well, you and my mom (who has a bad case of salmonellaphobia)

Nope, no dough-a-phobia... just don't like the taste of it til its cooked... I don't even like cookie dough ice cream. (My kids think I'm crazy... oh wait... I am...)

Changing the topic to Candy - chocolate at that - A bag of home-made chocolates just arrived on my desk....mmmmmmmmm

Should I share?

BURP!

The plan was to have both Jay's and my clothes in the same bag...ditto for the kids.

Time to move from Plan A to Plan B. Either that, or Jay doesn't get any clean clothes all week.

Diana....Jordan claims she's still sick, but you could fool me. After all, she was "diagnosed" by Virgil. LOL

Megan just called. She wanted me to come get her at work and drive her home. Said she's too sick to drive. Yeah, right....who did she think she called? A GOOD Mom??? :rotfl2: I'm just a hair too busy for that. She has a husband...she can call him. Before you think I'm really evil, I didn't have ANY family to call when I first got married. I managed. It made me tough. She needs to get tough.

My kiddo loves meringue, DH loves chocolate chip. I need to find my super easy recipe for meringue cookies with chocolate chips and pecans in them!

Me, I like anything chocolate. Sounds like it might be too late to share Irene's!

Thanks for the offer, OM. But don't make more cookies on our account. Sounds like all of yours are spoken for! Or will be, after you host that sleepover tonight.

Well, I was single for a long time. And I called my parents exactly twice. Both times, I had to go to the hospital for food poisoning. That should be the adult kid rule, if you have to go to the emergency room, then call me!

PLEEEAAASEEE!

My favorite chocolates these days are Lindt Truffles ... YUMMY!

As for cookies, I like them all ... just nothing with coconut. And as for the cookie dough and cake batter, I love that too! Yes, I have a sweet tooth. Mayfield has a birthday cake ice cream that is quite yummy. But, Mayfield has lots of ice creams that are quite yummy.

I am still at work, it seems no one else is....my desk is beginning to become unpiled.

ok - i looked at the bag of candy - it says "Irene" - doesn't say Disboards.

There are 3 bags and one gold box. The bags look like chocolate pecans and two types of brittle and the chocolates are dark chocolate covered nuts.

Aren't I bad....to post this....yummy....

I made the Rachel Ray 5 minute fudge with pecans and have been snacking on that - talk about a sweet tooth!!

Glad to hear most everyone is feeling better and ready for the Christmas weekend.
We are booked to go to the aquarium on Sunday but need to confirm they are open.
Also have a 4 day weekend and looking so forward to just hanging out.

Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the aquarium. We're scheduled to go on Jan. 2 when we're in town for the Sugar Bowl.....

Decided to make one last purchase for Bruce (well sort of for me) for Christmas. I went by Lowe's and picked up a parking sensor to put in the garage. Bruce has always threatened to hang tennis balls ... NO WAY!! Now that I'm driving the car that gets parks closest to the door to the house, I have hard time judging how far to (not) pull in. Sometimes I barely leave room to walk. I have an excuse though ... I can't turn around to see if I've pulled in to far. :guilty:

It takes batteries ... which reminds me that I need to check all of the Santa presents to be sure that we have the appropriate batteries. That would be no fun to have presents & not be able to play with them.

Listening to some Christmas music to get in the spirit ... a little Aaron Neville, Luther Vandross & Harry Connick, Jr.

Don't even start that!! Mmmmmmm, cookie dough!!

Good thing Jim's not here........

But he is. I love cookie dough and think that baking a cookie just ruins it!

AND A TOP FOR ME WITH COOKIE DOUGH :dancer:

I'm with you...would much rather eat it raw. I'll take my chances.

Well. I guess we're ready. Whatever we don't have, we'll have to buy.

I told Jay that I couldn't fit all of our stuff into one bag (well, I DID..but it weighed 60#) and he had the nerve to tell me to take out HALF of mine! :headache:
Sent Jared down for another bag. Now I have all the more room for purchases!

We went about a week after it opened, spent 3 hours there and never got to see the whole place, we had my niece with us and it took longer with the 3 kids, we really enjoyed it, the beluga's are amazing, loved the huge window and could sit there and just watch, we never got to the tropical fish, there are lots of areas for touching and learning.

Hope you enjoy it.
