Hi Stacey, welcome back, sounds like you had a great time! Sorry to hear you're sick. So are you saying that you didn't look at Chip n' Dale?

We are done with our last show of the season, too, thank goodness it wasn't as big of a production as yours, OM. Still, we sat around yesterday and did NOTHING, which was very nice. But there were some things I need to get done before Kevin gets home tomorrow. So for starters, we're going out for lunch! I did one really good thing so far today, I found a boxed Barbie that sold out of my Ebay store. I had no idea where it went! But it's shipping today, yay!

Irene, sorry you didn't get to dive. But I don't blame you at all. The guys are hard core. Kevin called yesterday, they did a three tank dive yesterday morning and were on their way to see King Kong. Well, not Jim and Matt, apparently they aren't big movie buffs? I was glad, though. We really liked King Kong (except for one scene with really big bugs), but it's something like three hours long, and I didn't really want to go see it again.

Hope everyone is healthy for Christmas! Sue, yes, you're nuts! But as long as you get some help, it should be fun!

So I leave and you all decide to talk about Chip and Dale - how fair is that? :rotfl2:

Diane - I wish I had stayed on the dock...Instead, I was on the boat, and this was worse than diving. I wanted to dive...I wanted to be off that boat, but they refused to tow me to shore.

Onward ---- Christmas parties........ :wizard:

OMG...I didn't think of THAT! :rotfl:

And yes, Diana...I DID look. That's probably why I'm sick now. God is punishing me! ;)
So we went to the doctor, the strep test was negative (which I knew mine would be, just wasn't sure about Jordan) but the doctor was concerned about us flying on Friday and didn't necessarily want us to end up seeing the ship's doctor. So we have Augmentin, Tessalon, and Robitussin A-C. That ought to knock the stuffing out of us!

I had to chuckle, the doctor asked if we had been exposed to strep or mono. I said "How would I know? She goes to school, and I was in Las Vegas. I was probably exposed to a bunch of stuff" (I wasn't the one exposed at Chip 'n Dale, though)
But I did say I hadn't been kissing anyone...'cept that one guy at the show. So he looks at Jordan...she turned beet red and said "I didn't kiss anyone!"...."I didn't go to Las Vegas". :rotfl2:

Hello well the only meet I have the same is is Sand Dollar meet at Disney. I go Sunday morning, when does Kelly go?

I think Kelly has her warm up at 3:00 on Friday afternoon. She'll have to miss school that day......Bummer!

Well, I know how that goes. I have the schedule for the first three meets and two of them are Friday morning at 8am (so two days off school). One is in Atlanta and the other is in Lakeland, FL (Battle of Southern Region vs the Midwestern Region).

YEA!!!! My Dad and brother are home now from diving. My Dad said to tell Diana and Alicia that Mr. Kevin is bringing them presents. I didn't get any. :confused3

Anyone watching 'deal no deal'??

Just make cupcakes in ice-cream cones, Adam will be 8 tomorrow.

I watched it. I like Howie Mandell so thought it was worth watching. Pretty interesting.

Thanks for the heads up, Lisa! We got him a present, too.

Stacey, you have too much fun embarrassing your kids.

Kikipug - thought about you when I 'popped' open rolls for dinner.

Tell me I am nuts! For Christmas dinner (I should be cruising) 2 of my 3 sisters and their hubbies, 2 nieces and one boyfriend, and two friends with 8mo twins. Jeanne and I will not make this mistake again.

Sue

That is way we cruise or have some other trip planned for Christmas. I'll think of you as we ride horses on Christmas morning, come back to a Christmas dinner by the fireplace, and than take quiet naps after our hottub. :rotfl2:

As you can see, Matt and I are home from diving. We got in late last night. Right now I am sitting here drinking some freshly roasted coffee from NM. I spared Kevin from having to carry his left over coffee home.

The diving was great. To bad the worst day for waves was Saturday. Monday was flat seas. We did a mix of wrecks and reefs. Some of the wrecks are a little technical because of their depth and a really bad current. We lucked out and had no current on any of the wrecks. That was really special.

I'll try to post some pictures of the sharks, barracudas, fishes. Since I have not even posted any from our anniversary cruise, I don't think this will be happening soon.

As always it was great getting together with Sam and Irene. We had pizza in their room on Saturday night after the night dive. They had some great beer to go with it. Night dive, DISers, pizza and beer. Great night!

We dove on a really friendly boat and they even took their dog one day with us. Matt enjoyed that.

We had some good food. Sunday night we went down to Islamorda and celebrated our one year 10 day DIS cruise by having dinner outside on the bay listening to live island music. The food was great, the setting was perfect. The only thing missing were our women.

Diana, I made sure Kevin took a few pictures of people so you wont have to look at only fishes.

It was a pretty quick trip with lots of diving and driving. Today is turn around day as we get ready to drive up to GA on Thursday night. Tonight my parents come for dinner and Christmas. Lisa and I are baking this morning to have it all ready. At least I don't have to cook on Christmas Day! :drinking:

Good Morning All, another day closer to Christmas!

We had a super dinner party last night - a combination Christmas and Cruise party for first time cruiser friends. Natch, we suggested Disboards. And they wanted all the tips. Let's hope they remember them all after the Champagne, Wine and Port by the patio fire. Their son is 13 - so any suggestions for teens that we don't know will be appreciated.

Christmas week is "supposed" to be slow but it wasn't, phones were ringing off the hook when I was not in meetings, so I am glad I planned a simple menu. Although not the bext of gourmet itmes, the crock pot provided rescue with chicken, mushrooms and onions over cous-cous with light stir fry zuccinni, carrots and onions. This word I cannot spell, Tabulaue salad for a start and the neighbor came over with just enough home made cookies for dessert - how great was that.

Sam managed to get the dive gear dry and off the porch, which means we had only to close the 3 doors to the bedroom, where all the "stuff" was shoved to allow for a semblence of clean home...Does anyone else have boxes of leftover stuff from cleaning sweeps. And had just sorted the hurricane box. Oh well....

time to wrap presents once I see what you have been up to yesterday.

Good Luck to all the last minue elves and safe travels for those on the roads or in the air. Anyone who is stil sick, please get well for Christmas.

Good Luck Lisa.....And good luck Kelly,,, :cheer2:

Welcome home Jim...Flat seas on Monday eh, it figures. Sam has been having fun - downloading the dive computer to the main computer....I don't have anything to download ::(:

Suggestions for some good shore dives in our area? I think it was Kevin, who posted one in Ft. L. a while back, we will try that. I'll do an on-line search and ask our dive instructor as well.

I am desperate to get back into the water to try the new gear, I just don't want to go near a boat (ok, I'll have to get over that,,,I'll have to resort to drugs....I really don't like drugs....beer good, drugs bad).

Good morning cruisers!

Happy Tuesday!

Irene I agree with you - this is supposed to be a slow week. Especially in my industry but we are busy busy busy. Plus having lots of people off makes it even busier for those of us still there. Well at least I have both Friday and Monday off!
