If you have the Disney Visa card, and you book a cruise between Nov 1 and December 15, you'll get a $75 onboard credit. If you booked onboard, that would give you $275 onboard credit. Cool. I think it said the cruise had to be sometime in 2006...it didn't say anything about '07, I don't think.

I haven't even checked the boards all day today. Just found out today that the ports on our 11/21 cruise have changed. No Coz. They have added Belize and Roatan. Now have to change all our excursions which include diving. Which I had a lap top so I could do it from Boston next week. Oh well.

The good news is Rock Shrimp tomorrow afternoon!!!

Ahhh...but the diving is great in both Belize and Roatan....we're hitting both of those this Christmas. We're using Capt Dusty's Salty Dog charter in Roatan, and taking Norwegian's shore ex to Ambergris Caye (spent a week there years ago) to Shark Ray Alley.

The mainland of Belize was a little scary all those years ago, but Ambergris Caye was very cool. I can't wait for the kids to see it. There are only 3 streets, appropriately named Front Street, Middle Street and Back Street. Sssh...don't tell anyone, but Jay had a fellow on Back Street make me a black coral necklace.....
We were there before our buddies started diving, but they've gone back since then and done the Blue Hole.
Some of our best stories are from that Belize trip......the bandits jumping out of the jungle and stopping us in Honduras on the way to Tikal....the canoe overturning in the Macal river, full of poisonous snakes, the potato and beer boat sinking just off Ambergris Caye....(all the locals dove out to save the beer, the heck with the potatoes!)....visiting the bar in the jungle where Harrison Ford hung out while they filmed "The Mosquito Coast".....

OMG...I can't believe I found this! This is where we stayed for a few nights on the mainland. They had just opened, we were some of their very first guests. February, 1989. Long before kids........
And this is their website....sad to read that Ken died a few years ago. I am amazed at how much they've done.

I'm trying to figure out how to do the Blue Hole. It's 55 miles off shore. I found one LDS who goes, but leaves at 6 am. Our ship arrives at 8 am so that is out so the Blue Hole may have to wait until the next trip.

I spent a week on Nekton diving Belize. It was an amazing trip. I would love to do another live aboard here.

If I can't do the Blue Hole we might do cave tubing. That depends on Sharon.
