It is rpetty bad, when one has to get a spatula out of the drawer to knock down something from the top shelf and duck for cover!

I can definitely relate... and in our new house, Ray finally has the pot rack that he always wanted... only problem is that I can't reach the pots (which really isn't a problem... one more excuse NOT to cook)...

When we moved in and were putting stuff away, he says, "Seeing as your mother will be here for 3 months a year, why don't we just put the wine glasses on a lower shelf so she doesn't always have to have help to get them down!"

Hey y'all!

I ventured out for family date night tonight. I took 2 pain pills prior to going and managed ok. That is until the 2 kids from the table behind us decided that they wanted to run around their table & kept running in to my chair. Now, we don't have the most well-behaved children in the world; but they are not allowed to get out of their seats at dinner other than to go to the restroom.

Another milestone day for me. Hope everyone else is having a good start to their weekend.

I'm 5'8" and still can't reach stuff on the top shelf in the kitchen. That's what step stools are for.

I just heard from the conceirge manager on our upcoming cruise. They have not made any port changes so it currently stands that in 2 weeks Sharon and I will be spending a full 24 hours in Cozumel.

I wonder what there will be to do at 11 PM in Cozumel and if they will still be running the tender for us?

I got to think they will be changing this port, but we will see.

I think that's when Mike would have gotten up and talked to the parents....given a sob story that made my condition out to be much worse than it really was just to get them to stop. Can't be good being jostled around like that!

hey, I have to do that - it's the joys of living with a 6' 6" husband - our builders must have known we would eventually buy this house - all the kitchen cabinets are designed with my dh in mind..He thinks he's funny - that's where all the good stuff - chocolate and junk food goes - on those high shelves... His empty water glasses end up on top the refrigerator.
