For us - it was not Russians, it was the attach from Cuba...and we did not practice duck and cover...In the ultimate wisdom, we all were lined up outside, by height and family group, and our parents had to take off work and pick us up and drive us home... Now I was a little precosous kid, who could not type or spell, and I thought this was really siilly

Irene, I'm in your era. I remember we had drills, and we had to hide under our school desks. Now, that was really silly, wasn't it? Must have been 1st grade or so.

Well, I signed on and posted some of Alicia's books we were going to donate, and Boom! someone wanted one. I was making a post office run today, so I took it. I guess this means I need to look for something I want to read.

We finished Season 1 of 24 tonight. Any time we sit down to watch it, we wind up watching all four episodes on the disc. You guys are very disciplined, only watching one a night!

Hey, have you seen Whale Rider? I think your kids would like that one.

Sharon signed up and is using Booksfree. The Netflik of paperbacks. So far it has worked great and is easy.

Her only concern is that we are hijacking her queue. They don't have multiple queues like Netflik so we just add our selections to her queue.

Matt and I are out of here. We are off to a 5K charity run on the beach this morning. Charity, beach, sunrise, breakfast afterwards....that is a pretty good way to start the morning. To bad they had to mix it up with a 5K.

Hey, have you seen Whale Rider? I think your kids would like that one.

We're only disciplined b/c the kids are home from grandma and grandpa's. When they were gone we'd watch 3 or 4 episodes a night. Now that they're back, and involved in their activities, we really don't sit down to watch anything until 10 or 10:30. So really only time for one episode.

You finished season 1, huh? quite the ending!! did you watch the "alternative ending?" not nearly as good. i'm glad they went with the one they did.
