All of you recent cruisers, I have a question. I saw where they were talking about different boarding procedures. Have they put that into effect? Sounds like there is no more 1st come 1st serve to get on board. Have they already started this? Just curious how it is working out.

From what I've read - nobody likes it - It's confusing... people are just standing around - and depending on where you are standing - you have to push through the crowd to get up front when you're number is called. They are also apparently doing it randomly - when you get to the top of the elevators - you are given a number - and that is your boarding number - you may be the first one there - and they give you a 3. I hope that it doesn't last - I'm not really sure what was wrong with the previous system that they felt the need to change it.... I don't think the Scuba's knocked too many people over in the rush to be first in line on the 10 day... ...

Yeah a top!!

Probably trudging around the neighborhood with Christopher the Vampire. Halloween is NOT my favorite holiday... I'll be glad when November 1 gets here and I can pull out the CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night, Elizabeth had a party to go to, and wanted to be a movie star... it's scary to see how she looked and remember that she's only 11!!!! Here she is:

Still no power in our neighborhood, so I think we will park chairs outside and see who comes down the street tripping merrily over roof tiles, old chairs, lumber, limbs, twigs, fence posts and the like.....

I expect we will have a few kids from the immediate area.....with parents, dogs - why not a big bonfire (oh, not this year, banned!).....Well, at least we can have a beer....while we exchange stories....
