Thanks, Stace. At least someone around here loves me.

So, have I told you guys about Kevin's collage girlfriend?

So Kevin likes girls formed of clipart? :rotfl:

We are home! Tired and sick, but home. Had a wonderful time. Just wish we could have left the bug that found us behind.

Irene and Sam, congrats on your check out dive. I know you were concerned about clearing your ears. Glad to see you made it.

Drift diving is different than other diving. Many people do not like just floating in the ocean with no boat around, but it sure is an easy way to dive. You don't lose the boat. Always remember, the guy with the flag is not lost!

My goodness....I had no idea what I was starting when I went into that closet! :scared1:

I emptied it all out....except my dresses that hang along one wall.....and then decided I may as well remove the old wallpaper. Jay wanted this done before he installs my new jewelry cabinet. Does anyone remember the laundry room episode? Jay wanted ME to paint it, before installing the new shelves?? I should get even with him, and paint the darn closet PIGLET PINK too!
Filled a good size box with shoes, belts and purses for my niece, and I still have 30 pair of shoes, not counting flip-flops and slippers. I did get Jay a little bit when I said "Now I can buy more!". LOL
We'll finish the rest of the closet when I get back from Mom and Dad's. Jay told me we could go ahead and do it...he's going to make new bars, and we need to paint....but I just couldn't do any more today. My back is killing me.
I have no idea why I have that many shoes. I work in a welding shop and only wear jeans and tennies. But I do love shoes. They are the only item of "clothing" that fit, instantly.

Irene, sounds like you did great!! How fun is that?! Since we did our one and only dive this summer, I could actually "see" what you were talking about....and relate! I had trouble going down the first time....instructor helped me along....
It was wonderful, amazing, thrilling.....but it's still just too much work to do on vacation. I'm content to float on the top.

Sue...I remember the first party we were invited to where I had to wear a hat.....I look sooooo stupid in hats. Maybe it's because I'm so short. But I did buy one, and I did wear it. It was fun. I just don't ever want to be one of the Red hat ladies. I'm never growing up.

Welcome home Mark & Mary!! :cheer2:

The kids cleaned their rooms today, too. REALLY cleaned them. They have carpet in those rooms....I'd forgotten!

It's Monday and a beautiful morning, stars are out. That must mean there is no hurricane this week. It's starting out pretty good! :rotfl:

:flower: Good morning Cruisers! :flower:

Well I thought we'd be going to work today but Mark and I are both really sick. Yuck! Just waiting for the doctor to get in and hopefully get something to clear this up.

Please do not sneeze on your computer monitor. We all don't want to get sick!

What - you don't have virus protection? :rotfl2:

Mark - That is sooo cute. Thanks. Mmmmmm....can we use that for the shirts?? You're very creative. I hope you feel better. I don't like being sick. Except for the simple thing that you get to stay in bed. :cool1:

Gotta go....someone's at my door.

Opps!! I posted that!! :rolleyes1 I don't think you can get Huevos in Florida. And THAT will be my down fall when moving there!! NO GREEN CHILI!!! :scared:

Ooops, sorry Kevin and Jim. I knew you had posted it Kevin, must have had a memory lapse there

Good morning, everyone. Welcome back, Mary & Mark. Sounds like a great trip!

Today is shipping day. Did well on Ebay last night. Watching the auctions end is fun. Getting paid quickly, very nice. Shipping, not so much.

I also need to try to speak to someone at the school today. Alicia has a half hour class right before lunch that's called "ILP". I have no idea what that stands for, but I was told at registration that it's a study hall. Great idea. Well, the teacher Alicia has gives them "projects" and won't let them read assigned books. They have to do "free reading". Fine, but she needs to read 150 pages of Grapes of Wrath by Friday for her Lit class, and could really use that reading time. Now I'm wondering if I should try the teacher first, or go for the VP. Ask if she can do "independent study" that period or something. According to Alicia, this teacher has quite a temper.

I thought by High School, I wouldn't need to call the school anymore for stuff like this!
