I just figured out that our paper has a Sudoku puzzle every day, too!

I'm going to have to check out these puzzles. I've never heard of them until y'all mentioned them.

I'm pretty sure I was too late to win today, but there's always tomorrow. Hmmm. Wonder how early I will have to get up?

Too bad us east coasters can't give you a wake-up "call" through the DIS.

Safe travels to those on the Wonder! And for those of you in FL, stay safe too. Looks like you'll be in for some rain. Can you believe we're in the Os already?!

Looks like we'll be making a trip to the pediatrician today. Between my coughing fits at night and Ashley waking and crying, DH and I didn't get much sleep. Ashley keeps saying that her ear is hurting so we'll be giving the ped. more $$$. Think I'll take Emily in too. She's been sick since last week.

We had one of those days yesterday. Alicia stepped on something and tore a hole in her big toe, then twisted her ankle practicing a jump in dance last night. Plus, she's grouchy. I don't think a doctor can help her, though.

She won't let me TLC anymore! She takes care of it herself. I guess if it starts to fall off, I'll hear from her.

Looks like TS Ophelia is going to head up along the coast of FL, but stay offshore. Good news for FL, could be bad news for SC. Most of the current storms are looping back into the Atlantic.

Looks like the drs. will be making $ off of all of us. Just got a call from day care that Ashley is complaining a lot about her ear hurting. They go down for a nap in 15 min. so I'm hoping she can get some rest then I'll pick her up and head straight to the dr. Otherwise, I'll be picking her up a lot sooner than anticipated.

Alicia sounds like she's in a lot of pain. I guess I'd be grumpy too!

Diana - I'm downloading a daily sudoku. Plus extra graph paper... John was supposed to be studying last night - laughed when he saw me bent over the paper - and said let me try...45 minutes of grumbling and erasing he solved it... he's hooked too...

After years of crossword puzzles - I hate to say but, I like these better - I don't have to have the obscure knowledge and familiarity with the clue patterns to solve them... Just a big fat eraser!!!

I'm not sure I like those on-line puzzles. No place to put cheat notes...

Yes, I think these are fun! It's got to be helping keep the brain cells alive, too, right? I think a lot of the newspapers are carrying them now. It was on the first page of the classifieds in our paper, which is a page I don't look at. I go right to the third page or so, where the estate sales etc. are listed.

Ok, I just read this in our paper, can anyone tell me what this means? "The first correct solution randomly selected each day will move on to a weekly drawing..." I think that means I don't have to get up early, right?
