I was going to do some ironing this afternoon....but I feel drained. I may read here for a while, or just go lay down. Am I the only one who feels drained after a scare like that??

Jeez, hope he's OK. You're probably right though, just low blood sugar. He is probably one of those people that need to eat on a regular basis, whither they are hungry or not!!

Sounds like you could go for some laundry a the Rose and Crown!!

That is what the kids want....snow. Sharon will be happy with a fireplace and a book. Might look into the Asheville, NC area and try to tie in the Biltmore Estate. Been there once and Christmas should be special!

Not going to get any snow there...... Going to have to come further North - or more into the mountains.....

A little further - but plenty of nice places to spend a few days over the Holidays here.....

My son will be 10 in January. He has limited use of his left arm/hand but otherwise...he is a typical fun loving boy! This is our 2nd Disney Cruise. The first cruise, both kids were in the lab....my son will feel alone without his sister. I hope he meets your son and others that will make him more at ease.

By the way...you are gonna LOVE DCL!

We had a bit of a scare this afternoon....Jared was walking into my bedroom and passed out. Basically fell straight down onto his face. He broke his glasses, which cut him above the eyebrow, and I think he re-broke his nose. We have no idea why it happened. Blood sugar, maybe. I'm still not fully recovered...he is...sort of, but I'm not. Poor kid.

How strange that our DS said he felt funny and wanted to lay down yesterday around 11:30. He had a big breakfast and had just eaten a bowl of popcorn. The first thing I did was to take his blood sugar (I'm diabetic, so know the symptoms of both high and low sugar). It was down to 52, so I gave him some juice and made him eat some lunch. He was fine the rest of the day, but now I'll be worried that this will happen to him at school. Now we have to decide whether to make a dr. appt. for him or not.
