Totally off topic but I saw regular Mello Yellow in a dining hall at WSU (Washington State) recently. Brought back memories of my youth when it was common to see Mello Yellow on tap.

I only see it in the Coke Freestyle machines.

Picking one from last visit. DCA snack saw pulled out of the oven at Boudin Bakery Tour, then carted to the San Fransokyo Cerveceria. The ‘Pretzel-wrapped Hot Dog’.

Another vote here for the Beignets and the Churro Toffee.

The food that surprised me the most though and was much better than i ever expected, was the cheesy garlic pretzel bread from Edelweiss and the chimichanga from Ship to Shore (both DL). The pretzel bread was especially lush

Has anyone tried the plant based creme brulee tart at blue bayou or cafe orleans? Wife has a dairy allergy, and I am always looking for items to have at DL or DCA that are safe for her to eat.

That was the best thing I ate during my last trip. I would eat it 3 times a day if I could lol. Everyone at our table loved it and I had no idea it was vegan until the waiter told me. He said they use coconut milk in it. Hard to get a good picture in the Blue Bayou light, but here it is!

That looks amazing! Although as a creme brulee fan, I have to question why they would completely cover the custard with fruit. Seems like it would make that crisp crust that's a highlight of the dessert soggy. No?

That's why I took the fruit off lol. The crust underneath was perfect and crisp. The pastry shell was delicious, too.

This is impossible but the brussels Caesar at Lamplight Lounge (I add steak) is amazing.

Then my usuals: garlic pretzel bread, clam chowder bread bowl, California roll sandwich.

Dessert is the cinnamon roll pretzel and then those dang Harbour Galley cookies. They get me every time!
