I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who responded to my post! What a friendly bunch! I would love to say that we are definately going to be able to make it on the double dip cruise in June, and after thinking it over, it's probably not going to happen next summer (sniff, sniff) maybe we'll be able to do a Fall or Holiday 2006 cruise. My husband just had knee surgery at the beginning of July, and he is using a lot of his leave now. Thanks for all your kind thoughts and invitations though! I am just going to have to read all your wonderful trip reports on your return! Someday we are going back to Castaway Cay, if I have to swim there! ha ha!!
I'll be lurking around here and reading up on all the cruise adventures. Kelly

Now I'm curious as to what thread the gal complained about to the Mods.......

I don't blame her for being bugged that all the joking started....but it WAS funny.

And speaking of Castaway Cay...... I WAS.......I'm thinking I'll book the things we want to do (Seahorse Snorkel and Banana Boats) for both days......just in case we can't dock on one of the stops. But the question is....if we DO make the first stop, and we get our shore excursions.....can I cancel them for the 2nd stop and not get charged? I'm not trying to rip off DCL....I just want to make sure that we get to do our excursions....we didn't get to at Christmastime.

Watched the weather this a.m. Who all in FL is in hurricane preparedness (is that a word) mode? Irene, you're in that area, right? Stay safe everyone.

Yesterday our weather people were saying there was no way it was going to be a hurricane by the time it hit FL ... boy have they changed their story this a.m.

Hi - Yes...up early - checking on the storm - not sure what will be happening as I am scheduled to be out of town - plans very up in the air right now...who knows...still packing but my greatly anticipated weekend away with DH is coming to a crashing end! Blah.

I'm pretty sure that the thread started talking about illicit drug use.....

I too thought the thread was pretty funny - you have to have thick skin to post on the main board - let alone the Community Board - which is just that - pretty much no holds barred discussion.....
