Diana, that is great news about your nephew! Whew!
Sounds like Kevin and Alicia are having a good time!
Wow everyone must have been busy tonight.
It is soo quiet.
Where has Mrs Irene gotten off to?
I miss her sum it all up in one post.
I went out to dinner and a movie with my friends that are going to WDW with me.
We got our costumes for MNSSHP. We are going to be the muses from Herc.
We saw "THe exorcism of Emily Rose".
I am not a scary movie kinda girl
THis one was not as bad as it could have been.
But I had never heard of the story
They say it is based on a true story?
Does anyone remember?
We had italian for dinner and guess what?
Banfi was on their menu.
But they wanted $38 a bottle. No thanks.
I will buy a couple of bottles in a few days.
I hope everyone has a great Sunday!
We will be doing some seriuous cleaning around here.
The house needs it badly.

And thanks, Sharon! I need to put Good Will Hunting on my Netflix queu. Good one for Alicia. But I'm thinking it was rated R?

Good movie, but the language is horrible. F all the time.

They do run this on TV and we have seen that version and it fine.

I wish Kevin would come home so we could hijack this thread back to something fun like diving. All the talk about kids, 504 plans, homework, motiviation, is depressing me.

I guess the good part is knowing that there are others having the same issues.

Now back to something fun, like a new dive light or maybe an Ipod Mini....:rotfl:

Hijacks the thread back to cruising. When does the planning for excursions begin. I have been looking through several sites for excursions in Cozumel and Costa Maya. Any Ideas out there? Have seen a few mentions of Mary's Tumlum? plans.

Now scoot on back to the school issues. It has been something else here, getting Dominique settled into school after missing the first month while we were gone. She has been in school for a month and a half now and has yet to bring home a good note from the teacher. We are continually getting negative reports, not the first positive thing does she do. According to the teacher. We have had 3 parent-teacher conferences, we have also sat in the class and observed the "teacher".Dominique has been sent to the principal's office twice and was threatened with InSchoolSuspension once. This was just a few days after school began. And she is only in Kindergarten.

And now back to the regular scheduled program.

Good Morning all, it is Sunday Hope everyone has a good one.

EEK! What is happening in that classroom??? Can you get her teachers switched?

Good Morning All!

Have a Wonderful Sunday! Can't believe I'm on before Mary, and it's not that early...

Last day of this phase of my Pilates training. I'm missing out on a wonderful weekend mid-70s. Great sleeping weather last night, it got down to the 50s...

we hope to get it all worked out. We have to do all the politically correct actions first.

You are a lot more patient,level-headed, and calm than I would be...I've learned to get dh involved in any communications and/or meetings with teachers, to keep my "mother bear" instincts from revving into overtime protecting my "cubs."

Well, I took the kids shopping for Halloween costumes last night. Robbie (ds 7) chose to be a pirate pirate: (all on his own, no coaxing from Mommy, but I was doing a little private :cheer2: thinking that would be less I would have to buy for the cruise that none of them know about yet. :cool1: My dd 4 Emily is going to be a witch, but, if you knew Emily, you would know it could not be your ordinary average witch. We had to go through about 1200 witch costumes before she found one she liked, and really the only thing witch-like about it is the hat and broom. The dress has a lace up bodice and multicolored tulle skirt with a black underlay. I am thinking after Halloween is over, if I can figure out how to get that tulle off, it will make a perfect pirate wench dress. ;)

Happy Sunday to everyone. I will be gone most of the day, Robbie is in a parade today... his cub scout den is carrying the flags for our big Covered Bridge Festival Parade. And dh darn well better get back from hunting in time to walk with them, since I volunteered him to do it. Hey, that's what he gets when he skips the meetings. :rolleyes1

Gotta catch up Jim - the new thing is the iPod Nano... 2 or 4 gig flash memory with a color screen, really cool... and really small.

Nightmare? Did you arrive late to port and the Double Scoop sailed away??

You know you would think it would be something that simple. It was definately on a cruise ship but as we were sailing away armed guards with machine guns took over the ship. I got separated from Mark and never saw him again. It was very strange and I woke up shaking. Not your usual "I missed the ship" nightmare. I think this is one cruise I would have been happy missing!

Guess I've been watching a bit too much 24 lately, but my first thought in response to reading this was "i wonder what will happen to him once we don't need his information anymore!!!"

With all the stuff going on with my family, I completely forgot something very important.

:flower2: :flower2: :flower2:    :cake: :cake: :flower2: :flower2: :flower2:
Happy Belated Anniversary, Stacey & Jay!!!!

(Sorry I'm late, Dear Friend, hope you enjoy the flowers & cake!)

Irene's anniversary party will have to wait until she's back from partying at Food & Wine.

We've had a whole day of rain here, so unusual. Woke up to lightning this morning. Our thunderstorms with lightning are ALWAYS in the afternoon, so doubly unusual.

Kevin & Alicia will be back this afternoon, sounds like they had a great time. Kevin's new name, feel free to use it: Pop-pop.
