5/27/06 "Il pochi il fiero i blabbermouths" We *will* sail again Part 4

Our plan is Vero Beach, or at least the east coast of Florida. Kevin is campaigning for Ft. Lauderdale and diving, but we have "free" lodging at Vero, with DVC points. I have a hard time going to FL and not going to WDW, but if we aren't even close I should be fine.

Hanging out at SAB sounds kind of nice though.

And does anyone know when Expedition Everest is supposed to open? That would be tempting too.

I know. I'll walk away from the computer for awhile, and someone will come and pirate: the top of page 900.
That's the way it ALWAYS works!!

I probably won't be here either, but I'll help out with the count!! :rolleyes1

I thought you didn't want to go to WDW without AP???? :earseek:

After hearing how much DS hates school, he came home from his first 1/2 day and admitted that he was really glad to be back. He also said that his 5th grade teacher didn't seem as bad as the kids were saying last year. The girls outnumber the boys 14 to 8 in his class, so he'll 'get used to being around all those girls' on the cruise.:love1:

Last I heard, they were saying "May 2006"... so if they stay on schedule, there's hope for you. Of course, my AP's expire on MAY 1... (Christopher's birthday)... so the chances of us seeing its opening are 1 in 31.

I'm sure we WON'T be at WDW the day before we sail... its great to live close by, but we lose the excuse of needing 'travel time'... the kids finish school on the 24th, but I'll need to work through the week (Memorial Day isn't even one of our 3 holidays a year... its a big sales day for us.)

o.k. - Now, I'm curious, what three holidays are considered not big sales days? Christmas, Easter, and...? (Does Christmas Eve count seperately?)

We are only closed on Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, and New Years Day. And we have retailers who feel that we should be open and servicing their accounts on Thanksgiving and New Years... (major grocery chains, especially).

Must investigate DVC points, I had thought of Ron Jon's but I will look at DVC points as well, I have some extra's...

DH used to be closed on Easter - but they are now open.

DH does not work Easter......We have church and family day....so far he has not been offered the either or choice.

Page 900 - WOW. My November thread is thrilled to reach post number 600 - their goal is 1500 before the cruise, not pages, posts......

:rotfl2: Those are common words around our house....... :rotfl2:

Yes, they are said when necessary in our house too... but I love to see it in PRINT!!! :)

We haven't posted for a while. Is anyone linking people up for the main seating? We would love to be at a table with 10-12 diser's. There are just two of us, Carolyn and Alex. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. Alex

Welcome Carolyn and Alex. If you click on the link for the 5/27/06 cruise in WDWLVR's siggie, it has the list of who is in charge of what, along with info on some of your fellow cruisers. You will find this:
Linked dinner reservations

Those of us who have sailed together before have found the joy of linking dinner reservations. What this means is that you and your family can spend dinner time with your fellow DIS'ers. No we won't all be at one table, but we can all be together in the same location. Contacts are:

Sue (aka Dobelover) for Main Seating

Diana (Dancind) for Late Seating

PM these ladies on the DIS with the full names of everyone in your party, your cabin number and later you may be asked for your reservation number. Let them know if you want to be at a table with other DISers or if your family wants their own table but right near the others.

I am off to Barnes and Noble to see if they have the YMCA Scuba book in stock. I'll PM you Kevin to let you know.....Our refresher course is in the ocean, not the pool, so perhaps I will take Kevin's advice and re-read the book first.....thought I'd better by a book that does not require a trip to the antique store to get the gear.... :rotfl:

Here's one for you - Diving instructor is trying to get rental gear and asks for my size. Ok, that is personal enough....But it is followed by a question asking me if I am "big-chested". Ladies, how does one answer that question??? :rotfl2:

Must have had blinders on when purchasing new laptop. I'm getting ready for a powerpoint presenation and decide I need a dry-run on the new computer. The old computer kept changing the graphcis....so I insert disk, created on work computer, and guess what -- NO powerpoint....oops..... :confused3 must get software ASAP.....and I'm not even blonde (ok - now who did I insult???) :bride:

Perhaps the new modem will have appeared when I get home...We will see????? :earseek:

Have a great evening, let's see if I post from home? :badpc: :badpc:
