Good evening everyone! Jim, sounds like a wonderful time with your son. It's always good bonding time when you survive it, right? Love the story about getting the 10,000. Matt is one determined guy.

Got a call from Alicia after their first dive today. I get more calls from her now that she has her own cel phone. She said that there are about 20 people certifying this time, including three boys her age. I told her "go make friends!" and she told me that none of them are cute. Didn't know that was a criteria for friends.

Stacey, how did you scare the dog? Were you jumping around funny? Can we see a video? Oh, never mind. If you send it to America's Funniest Home Videos you could probably make some money.

Sorry, not in the market for a house today. I'm sure it's great though. How fast do they sell in your neighborhood, Kiki?

So, do you think it would be naughty of me to open a bottle of Banfi tonight, all by myself? I don't think I could drink the whole thing, but sure would make the Ebay listing tonight less painful. Though maybe not so accurate.

I've seen it several times, and love it too! A friend that I went to school with from Kindergarten through high school is in it on Broadway... he understudies for Phantom, and plays several other major parts every night. I've always seen it in Boston, though, so I haven't seen him perform.

I certainly have a lot of respect for all of the hard work that goes into performances. Over the past three years being involved in community theatre has given me a whole new understanding. And, I only do "desperation roles" - as in the director is desperate for more bodies in the chorus, crowd scenes, etc...I'm exhausted just being part of a show that goes from audition to finish in 10 weeks. It's fun, but I can't imagine having that type of energy night after night and then add matinees on top of it too...

I'd offer to split the bottle with you, but after 24 hours of a stomach virus, I don't think Banfi would be such a good idea... I did manage to eat dinner tonight (which is a lot more than I can say about yesterday!!), but I think Banfi is still out of the question.

I'm having a bottle of Mike's Hard Cranberry Lemonade as I type. So, I'm drinking with you! DH grilled shrimp tonight. Very yummy! This was a first for us so I did different flavors - lemon & herb, Greek seasoning, garlic & herb, & Cajun. The cajun was the favorite for DH & I.

Hope everyone is having a good night. DH rented Aviator tonight. We'll see if I can stay up to watch it. I've got probably 2 more loads of laundry to do ... YUCK!

Stacey, I had to use the bottle of crazy glue today to glue the boa fluff back on to Emily's Barbie shoes. I didn't have to use my teeth though.

Laundry is perpetual... finishing one load just means there's another one somewhere!!!!! (It never fails- I'll finish the 'last' of the laundry, and Elizabeth will round up all the dirty clothes she's been stuffing away in the nooks and crannies of her pigsty.)

Good luck with the cleaning. It's hard to move. As much as I'd love a new house with more space, I can't imagine having to de-junk! Although it's something I REALLY need to do now.

Along with taking pictures today (123 of them!), I was de-junking my office. I made a pile of all the stuff I've decided isn't worth listing to donate. You would think that the pile in my office would have gotten smaller, but it didn't. Both are small mountains. How does that work?

Since I collect old dolls, I have boxes of clothes and accessories in my office too. That's the base of the small mountain.

BTW, the duck with Banfi sauce was excellent tonight. The Banfi also went well with the Creme Brulee with Raspberries.

the entire family is all dressed up and on the way home from Phantom - where do we stop but, the McDonalds Drive Thru - John had to get to the church gym/theatre to set lights for tomorrow's Sound of Music tech rehearsal...
