Dancind said:And the biggest loss, no Living Statues! My niece even asked about them. I'm amazed that they are gone, they were so popular. But they still have the guy with the chairs in France (yawn). The World Showcase Players have a new show, though, that's lots of fun. Romeo and Edna. And they seem to really have beefed up the street performers at MGM. We sat and watched one show there that was not so amusing. I think it was the Hollywood Chorus?

Dancind said:We sometimes rent an older comedy movie that we remember as very funny, and are kind of shocked at the content.

kikipug said:Steve - I know for a fact that there are still Cat 9's available... I was looking into what others were left besides ours just yesterday... not sure about the other Cats.... didn't look at those, though I know there was availabilty in several higher categories. (See my earlier post a few days ago... I'm the one in the Cat 9 broom closet... no 7 phones in the room for me... sorry Stace...)
Dancind said:We took our first DCL cruise in 2002 on points. We had just added on, and had lots of points. For the 10 day cruise, we rented our points and used the money to pay cash for the cruise. We're doing the same thing for this next one. Really an individual choice, depends on what you value your points at vs. the cost of the cruise vs. the hassle of renting. I find it pretty easy to rent them.

whnim64 said:What! Four posts in a row? Where is everyone? I feel like I'm hogging the boards, just like Amanda.
kikipug said:See... you fit RIGHT in with the rest of us!!!!!! Watch out... there will be 'awards' presented on the cruise, based on what goes on on the boards... the Wooden Spoon Award (for 'stirring the pot') and the Fluff award nominations are already underway!! I'm sure there are categories yet to be discovered... we've got lots of time!
Dancind said:Steve, I sent you an e-mail.
kikipug said:OK other moms out there... what's your take on the Fantastic Four movie? Christopher is begging me to let him see it... to me, it doesn't look very 'kid-friendly' (he's 8), yet it's being hyped on Lunchables commercials, and in ToysRus... I just hate it when they hype the PG-13 movies for kids who still have 5 years to go...
Anyone???
Dancind said:. . All the kids at the dance studio name Grease as their favorite movie, and we did let DD watch it pretty young, but that one's pretty bad, too! I guess pre-screening is the only way to go!

We are Carolyn (DW) and Alex (DH), live in Florida and we are both RNs. We try to keep up with the boards but often fall behind. We joined the westbound repo thread, met lots of great disers, and decided to take the double dip cruise (if I can get the time off). We look forward to getting to know everyone. Alex
