There are so many local dive shops (LDS) in you area that it is hard to make a recommendation. The shop I suggested for the equipment might be able to do it. That way you might have a chance to cut a deal on the equipment.

What is "Diane's law" - something I should have read when I signed up for this board I presume, but...care to enlighten me?

I've got a favor to ask. It takes me a while to learn names, and it would be so helpful if the folks posting here regularly would sign their first names to their posts. That way, when we get on the cruise, I remember your name as well as your DIS ID!

Amanda was strictly enforcing hers for a while there, but then again, it was the dead of winter, and we were all bored... plus, all it took was a permanent font change or a smiley on your siggy, and you were legal

Another boring day at work... look what was just fished out of the 'company fishing hole'. He's about 7 ft long, and NOT very happy to be photographed... I had never heard anything HISSSSSSS quite like he did... he's missing a paw/foot/flipper (whatever you want to call it)... obviously not his first run-in with an enemy.

We knew he had been there for a few weeks, but had gone into hiding after we gave him a 'little scare'... now he'll go live happily ELSEWHERE... where he can't eat out of the well-stocked pond...


And yes, I DID take this pic with my camera phone...

Kiki - Not sure if you know this but they do not release all the Gators they catch. There is a size limit and the big ones are made into handbags and shoes. They don't get to test the homing instincts....'sorry!

"If an alligator is longer than 4 feet and exhibits aggressive behavior, it’s classified as a nuisance and harvested for its meat and hide by a permitted nuisance trapper. Alligators that are larger than 6 feet present the greatest hazard to humans and pets."

It's funny that everyone that lives thousands of miles apart can manage a DIS-meet, but we are less than a mile apart, and our existance can only be confirmed in cyberspace... oh wait... Sharon and I DID meet at Middle School orientation that night... so I KNOW there's at least one Scuba...

We won't see Ray on here til at LEAST after next year's Daytona 500. That will still give him 3 months to figure out what a bunch of crazy lunatics he's vacationing with. (He already knows that about me...)

Only my family calls me Kiki to my face, but if it makes life easier for you... go ahead... (My nephew bestowed the name on me when he was a baby... he's graduating from HS next week, but the name still lingers at family functions...)

This reminds me of a girlfriend of mine...

Every year for her every holiday she asks for the same thing....doesn't matter if it's Christmas, Mother's Day, their anniversary....

She asks for her own apartment!
She wants somewhere she can go where it's always clean!!!

So far she hasn't gotten it. And with 4 kids, her own house is never clean. (nothing implied about ppl who have 4 kids...you'd have to KNOW her kids to understand)
