Hey Scuba... Just got my weekly e-mail update from the wine shop in town... this was today's quote (he's always got a quote at the end)... thought you'd appreciate it!!! (Substitute "dive trip" for "safari" if you want...)

As I sit here drinking a glass of wine, I have to agree with him. Except I never let a cork stand in the way of a good glass of wine.

I'm getting good at updating the website all by myself without blowing things up, locking things up, or crashing the entire system...I'm pretty impressed with myself!!!

Monica - doesn't it feel great when you do it! I didn't know anything about web design when I started the page for the 10 day group but as I did the monthly newsletters I learned more and more and got comfortable.

I think Scoopie's site looks great!

I'm jealous!!!!!!! Back in my gymnast days, I would have given my right arm to meet Bella and Marta... (then again, if I gave my right arm, my gymnastics career would have ended even sooner... never mind...)

And I tried to get her to go for 4 weeks there. She did not want to.

Home alone... what's that? I guess I have a few more years to wait before I can get BOTH kids out at once for a few days!!!! So for now, we'll continute to run away without them at least once a year. (Scoopie will be with us on our next trip though... I doubt he'll give us much trouble.)

Actually, I found Banfi does not pop the way champaign bottles do. But I'll keep trying!!

Reminds me of my favorite Antiques Roadshow item...The sword a guy used to cut watermelons open with ended up being a VERY rare Civil War sword...

OK, Scoopie is going to be one spoiled cone!!! Pace Cars, Mardi Gras, lots of cruising, WDW, chickens, and now I got a PM from Scuba Mom, Sharon:

He'll be going with Lisa to Karolyi's Gymnastics Camp - I will have her get a picture with Bela & Marta Karolyi with Scoopie. (I can't wait to hear how she explains this one to him - HA HA)

Will Bear be jealous at all of this attention?

this is little gymnast. I'll try my best to take a lot of pictures with Scoopie. I told people at my gym about Scoopie. Hopefully he is not afraid of heights. Or we might not be able to go on a airplane. Hopefully by then he will be over heights. If he gets here in time for my birthday [7/17] ,he can go to Blizzard Beach.

Thanks, Mary... that one was pure luck! I already made my non-scientific Dover picks the same way; didn't want to forget to submit them before heading off to WDW on Thursday. No time to scrutinize Jayski et al to figure out my picks... tho' I've proven this week that it just doesn't matter!
