Scoopie will by my guest at the Anheuser-Busch National Sales Convention. (He'll need to show proof of age to be allowed in, though). So he probably won't see the 'sights' that everyone else sees there, but I'm sure he'll have some great experiences, and will even get to rub elbows (does he have elbows ) with some celebrities.

Irene - what was the forecast this morning? Mark and I are on the Member Cruise that sails September 4-8th. We are driving down and hope to visit WDW one day before and two days after the cruise. I read somewhere on the board that the Farmer's Almanac said a hurricane would hit between September 1-7. Needless to say I'm hoping that isn't accurate.

Sorry but we cannot help you for a specific week. What they did was "up" the number of named storms (Bad) and the Intense storms (Bad) and the frequency (Bad). But then during Andrew - we only had one storm (Vicious) and it was an "A" - so the season officially was "not up to predictions" - Yeah - tell that to Dade County.

Anyway, that is what trip insurance is for.......I have lived here all my life and went through Cleo and Donna and then decades before Andrew and then another 10 before the fab four last year........

Let's hope that if we get all these storms they head north to the Hurricane graveyard!!!!!!!!!

Sandi (whnim64) - Scoopie wants to come visit!!! I know you're flexible on dates - but, we need to know when would be a good time to visit!!! Maggie and I just have one request (as die-hard Cubs fans)- He can't have anything to do with the St. Louis Cardinals!!!

We're also changing mid June dates to "reserved" in Houston - Maggie really wants Scoopie to visit. He'll get some good spoiling Grandma style, since they'll be here too...Grandma will get a kick out of sight-seeing with Scoopie.

hmmm - I think I really need to travel as Scoopie's escort...Not sure about Mardi Gras though, guess I have to experience it once....

No worries ... remember I have 2 small children. We'll be doing the family-friendly Mardi Gras. I'm sure there will still be some sights but not too many. Besides, this will be the weekend before the big Mardi Gras weekend - not as many drunks around.

DH was using it in a car show one day (offsite from the speedway), and stopped home with it to get something that he forgot... so we took pix of the kids with it.

Yeah, and he got to work (extra or weekends) on Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, 4th of July, the day after Christmas (even on a weekend), etc., etc., etc. Oh well... at least he's happy at his job! We went through a very long time of him being miserable (when we were still in NH), so it's worth it!!!
