Before others chime in......

Somehow since Stacey was going to be a guest at our dinner party - she ended up on my room reservation. When we checked in - they forced us to spend the first night in a smoking room - when it finally got switched - they called the room and asked for me - when Frances said - this is his wife - the front desk said "Stacey - we can move you now....." Needless to say - I got much ribbing from the both of them.....

(But Scuba, you are right about coffee by the pool being worth the price!!)

HEY! I could have coffee by my pool right now!! Ok, Ok, I'd have to be in jeans, a sweatshirt and possibly gloves, but I could do it. Oh, and I'd have to be looking at a pool with a water temp of 58 and is green b/c it was just opened, but hey, it'll get there. By next week the water should be clear and by July the water temp should be 82!!!

Nevermind. It doesn't compare. :(

Well, we could have coffee by our backyard pond. It's a lot less green than it was before Kevin took all the algae covered rocks out. We discovered that we still have six fairly good size Koi and one very large frog. Who thinks that the skimmer is his house.

Mary, as long as you are working on the web site, you need to change the caption on the Vegas picture to " Virgil (WVMD), his beautiful wife Frances, and his OTHER beautiful wife Stacey."

Any newbies that come along will just have to figure it out for themselves.

Leslie IS someone famous......she's GLORIA GAYNOR!! :rotfl2:

I wouldn't have slept in the hall just to get a pin.
I would have paid Gregg, Matt and Jordan to do it....they've had practice!!! :teeth:

That's exactly what Matt said when I told him about people sleeping in the halls waiting for the pins to go on sale. He couldn't see the big deal since he, Jordan and Gregg and done just that on the Christmas Cruise - and they didn't even get pins at the end of the time. (HA HA). I wonder if the room stewards brought the PC Crusie people pillows and blankets that evening like they did our kids.

From what I head most people brought their own from their rooms, but the stewards did pick them all up in the morning for them. That was nice.

So what did the kids have to sleep in the hall for for your cruise?

Hi Everyone,

Just checkin' in. Anybody miss me?? :rotfl2:

Construction update: Roof is on everything! Today is the first day in 2 weeks where the sun is not out. Weather is calling for possible showers. Hope it stays South of us. All prayers are welcomed. Looks really good though. I can't believe it. The bedroom is sooo big. We moved our kitchen into the garage. Livin' like a real redneck now. :rotfl: It's going to relieve any pressure for a kitchen and it enables me to cook.. Which could be a good thing or bad whichever way you want to look at it. A lot of BBQ this summer.

Well, gotta go and finish packing what's left in my old kitchen cabinetes.

TTFN,
Maria

I have to agree with Mary (although that was funny, Diana) it would be just a little too confusing.

Kind of like explaining why the kids slept in the hall!

My ever-so-blonde (but cute) daughter forgot her room key. She was afraid to wake us up, because it was so late (swears she tried to ring the doorbell, but we didn't hear it) so Gregg and Matt were gentlemen and slept out in the hall with her. And I do mean that sincerely, they were very nice. Even IF none of them thought to call us on the phone that was right above their heads in the hall!!
And, yes, someone came along during the night and took pity on them by giving them blankets and pillows. But we didn't leave the bedding in the hallway for the stewards to have to pick up!

Hello everyone,

My husband & I just got back from a 4 night Wonder cruise, we decided to rebook on board for the May 27th 2006 cruise. This will be our 4th Disney cruise. We have done the Western, Eastern, and the 4 night to Nassau & Castaway Cay. We are thrilled to have 2 days at Castaway Cay..... Now I have a question: I have read about "Dana", I'm wondering if we could still save $. We told the DCL sales person that we usually deal with DU. She did mention that DU would not be able to save us any more $. We did save 10% and got 2-$200.00 on-board credits (booked 2 rooms). So, what do all of you think? We booked a cat 6 & cat 12 (across the hall).

Our traveling party consists of myself, Lisa, DH, Steven, our children, DS, Cory 12 at the time of cruise, DD, Morgan 8 at the time of cruise and lastly, my wonderful (I'm not being sarcastic) Mother-in-law, Carol. This will be her 3rd Disney Cruise. She took care of our children when we went on the 4 night Disney Cruise.

Thank-you WDWLVR for inviting me to this thread. I've been glued to the Live repo cruise thread. It was great to see the Magic off this past Saturday. She sure is beautiful.
Looking forward to chatting with all of you..

Lisa

Lisa - glad you found us!

We booked on DCL and than transferred to Dreams and got their rebate on top of it. We've only ever used Dreams and I highly recommend them. Others have used Dana so it wouldn't hurt to check into that as well.

When you get a chance check out the link below for our group. If you want to send me a picture of your cruisers and all the same info (names, ages, birthdays, etc.) I'll be happy to include you on the page. Once again welcome to this great group. I hope you visit with us often so you can get to know us and we can get to know you!

Welcome Lisa!!!! I am a frequent user of Dana's services at www.micdan.com Call her number listed at that website and she will save you more money from what your quote is from DCL! In my particular case, Dana saved me more than DUs rebate.

Here's a picture of Captain Mickey waving as they go through the Canal
