Maria :flower:

We are back from Tallahassee where DD had state gymnastic's meet. I'm sure DW will give you all the details, but let me just say I am planning my diving for Fort Lauderdale when we will be there Regionals.

The three of us at Cozumel: diving, diving, and ???? Last time I went shopping with another internet cruiser, had lunch downtown. This time I'm thinking either Chakanaab for the day, or a private beach I've read about that has fresh lobster for lunch. Also fresh guacamole and margaritas. Coz has the best reefs in the Caribbean, it would be a shame not to check them out this time.

I'm so happy right now. We booked a Disneyland trip with Dreams Unlimited for this December. Just got an e-mail from Dreams and Disney started a new promotion. They rebooked it for us and saved us $279. Way to go Dreams! :thewave:

:cool1: Woohoo thanks for the Top setup Maria! I have added your family to "THE LIST" thank you for formating it for me! But be careful, as you never know what will show up on "THE LIST"

Maria, we need to get you AJ and my CJ penpaling. They will be the same age at cruise time. CJ will be 10 this year ,and 2 months shy of 11 when we cruise.

Amanda,

I noticed that. And your son Max and my son, Anthony will be the same age, too. That would be great to get them to penpal. AJ and CJ, I mean. I am waiting for Easter to get a nice FAMILY picture to e-mail Mary for the board. What does CJ stand for? AJ stands for Augustine John, the III. My husband, FIL and my son all share the same name. I know, but I'm old fashioned. My FIL and my husband both go by the name Augie, so 3 of them I didn't need. That's why AJ is AJ. Too many Augies.

Well, time for me to go to bed. Nite all. Amanda, I look forward to hearing from you.

TTFN,
Maria :flower:

Or they'll deliberately choose to boycott YOUR funeral, in which case the sourness in their heart will make them miserable.

And you won't know they boycotted, anyway!!

Ok - time to start some cruise talk up. What are your plans for Cozumel?

We're looking at going to Tulum. Anyone else got plans? What are they?

mike and kt did this on our last trip to cozumel. kt had studied it the year before and it was a good way to tie everything together. :)

We are talking about doing the Royal swim with Dolphins at Chankanaab in Cozumel.

What all is involved with the Royal swim? Nick and I did the dolphin encounter thingy at Chankanaab while Mike and KT were at the ruins. But that was just get in the water, touch a dolphin, wave to the dolphin, kiss the dolphin, get suckered into buying the picture AND the video with the dolphin (Nick REALLY wanted to share with KT all that had happened so he wanted the video)

Did they like it? BTW - how is Mike's eye doing?

They really really liked it. It was a long trip there....a ferry on choppy water, then a walk, then a bus ride, then a tram ride pulled by an old tractor. Then a boring tour guide who talked a lot about his dead grandmother. Then a tour of the ruins and more of the boring tour guide. Then swimming on the beach where there was no where to sit or even set your beach bag and the beach was filled with little Mexican kids swimming in their underwear and slightly developed Mexican girls swimming and playing on the beach with no top to their suit. Then the long tractor/tram ride, bus ride, walking and ferry ride back. And after waiting in a LOOOOONNNNGGG line to reboard the ship they got back to the room at 5:55 and had to get ready for 6:00 dinner! ;)

But, ALLLLLLLL of that to say they had a FANTASTIC time. KT loves that special time with her dad.....she was able to actually SEE something she had learned about in history......they laugh and kibbitz about all the fun stuff they experienced--like being offered pepsi or Mexican beer on the bus ride home in a cup without a lid and trying to balance that and eat a "Mexican Subway" sandwich and not spill the drink---or the yellow curtains with the pom-poms on the bus that swayed back and forth---or the stop on the trip at a junky trinket stop to pick up souveniers and PAY to use the bathroom.

Would they do it again? Probably not. Seen the ruins once, that'll last ya awhile. But they do both highly recommend it. :)

HTH

oops, forgot about the eye question. It's not aching as much as it had. The bluriness is getting better day by day (although he still will need a new prescription once this stabalizes) He has learned how to "pump" his eye to get the fluid into his bleb if he feels the pressure sensation (when they did it at the doc's office, the pressure went from 26 to 10!!!)

He still maintains that the doctor told him not to lift more than 5 pounds, not to push a vacuum cleaner, and not to use any chemical cleaners (toilet, sink, lysol spray) for at least a year. I think I'm going to his next eye appointment to clarify these very restrictive limitations!!! ;) ;) ;)

Well you are a nicer wife than me. My DH is a JR James Steven, only neither her nor his father are called James, they are called Steve. SO you run into the whole "Big" Steve "Little" Steve thing, which drives ME nuts! So I did not want to make my son a JSV III Why saddle the kid with a name that 2 people before him didnt like? LOL So I named him Christopher Jacob :) And MAx would love to penpal also, with me doing the typing of course. He did this for our 11/27/04 cruise and he had 2 buddies by the time we boarded. They had sent pictures to each other and everything, so it made it easier on them to spot each other.

OM the Royal Swim is sooooo much better. First off, it is a much smaller group than what I witnessed doing the encounter. We only had 8 people in our group, and as we passed the Encounter folks it looked as though they had at least 25 in their groups. Anyways, you get 2 dolphins for your swim. We had Scarlett and America. Each person gets to "kiss" the dolphin, shake its hands, do dorsal pull (where they pull you by holding onto their dorsal fin), do a nose push ( I dont recall the correct term, but you are "standing" on the dolphins noses and they push you up out of the water) also we got to hold a "limbo" stick for the dolphins to jump over. Then we had some free swim time, which basically we all floated in a circle, and they were allowed to swim around us and we could pet them! IT was AWESOME!

Bwahahaha, well you will just have to let him know that after giving birth, technically one is not supposed to do those the above mentioned things for 18 years :-) You win! LOL:rotfl:

:flower1:Good morning cruisers!:flower1:

Happy Sunday!

Still fighting a bug on this end - yuck. Well this is the first time all winter I've been sick so can't complain.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and a great week ahead!.

We had the flu bug floating around the last couple of weeks and now we have a nasty stomach virus floating around. Hopefully we wont get it. The flu virus this year was awful.
