Our new motto:

Il pochi il fiero i blabbermouths

it's Italtian, the closest I could come to Latin using babblefish

You need to add that to your siggie. I like it! You could always replace the pirate name.

It is rated in the top 10 of the World. I have already picked the trip. It is 6/3/2007 for 6 nights in Port Hardy which is in the inner passage. The trip is a specimen collecting expedition with Vancouver Aquarium. Here is the write up.

Sounds like a cool trip, Jim. But sounds like it might cost more than the cruise? Are you taking Matt on this one? And what do they mean by fit, exactly?

Don't. They have your deposit, you are good to go.

Kikipug - that is a great idea. Print up a door magnet and have a picture taken with your door magnet on it. "Welcome home Kikipug and family". That would be neat.

Note to self... some time in November, it's time to REMEMBER to do all this stuff for Christmas!!!!

OK, gotta ask. Why? I depend on Ebay sales for a good portion of my income.

To me, e-bay is a big 'virtual yard sale'... and I HATE yard sales. Thankfully, I live in a development that doesn't allow them. The guys that I work with seem to buy EVERYTHING on e-bay... just can't even bring myself to even surf there.

Sandi - just wanted you to know that we had some of your eggs for dinner tonight (did the breakfast for dinner thing). They were wonderful! Thank you so much!

While we're on the subject of food, I have a real DIS question...

Does anyone else think that the Zebra Domes are overrated???

Karen,

I do ... ate there last week and was terribly disapointed in the domes. We just got back today and I am trying to catch up on all of these posts.

We noticed the Zebra domes were much smaller than last time we ate at Boma, but I thought they tasted just fine!!

The size thing, must be to cut down on waste. I know the very first time we ate there, I could barely walk afterwards....
I'm sure lots of food is thrown away.

Yoohoo! A Top talking about food!! pirate: pirate:

ah, thanks. i hadn't checked the bottom of the feet, so i couldn't tell.....

i know, i know this won't make sense to people so let me explain. when i was a kid i lived on a farm. lots of barn cats....mousers. when a litter of kittens was born, my dad would flip them over and say "girl." "girl." "boy." and then he'd look at me and say "i'm checking the bottom of their feet to see what they are."

HA! that worked until i was about 22 and found out what he was REALLY doing.
my kids are smarter. they've figured it out already.

GunkaKaren that is a REALLY cute story!!!!:goodvibes

I go to bed last night at a reasonable hour....
then get up today and there is EXACTLY ONE new post?

Where IS everyone?

Sorry, I think my lack of sleep on vacation finally caught up to me and I have been hitting the sack early! Then I go to work, and hop on after for a quick skim thru before the kids start in on me!:confused3 ;)

Busy day today. Have to call and see if the kids' ceramics are done---they are anxious to get them by father's day.

then have to FINALLY go pick up the car. they called yesterday and figured out the problem. they had ordered, and installed, the wrong radio. they were VERY VERY VERY apologetic and offered to fill up my tank for free...

but i already had a full tank b/c of the whole mix up when we bought the car.

when i go and pick it up i'm going to try to negotiate a better "i'm sorry gift." maybe a free oil change/tire rotation for mike's truck (mine are free for a year so that doesn't do any good)

i'll just say something like....i really want to be able to rate you highly on the customer satisfaction survey..... HA!

Haha tell us what you got you master negotiator!! ( oh that sounds kinda dirty, huh?:rotfl2: )

That's the one you were telling me about!! Sounds marvelous! Are you already booked? The site showed no spots left....

I just looked at 2007. 9 spots available for this one.

We have Costco in ATL metro. But, I guess you'd have to be a member to buy so that doesn't help. Do y'all have Home Depot Expo there? They have nice higher end items there. Guess that all depends on how much you want to spend.

I am such a bad wife...I havent even gone out and looked...sigh....And what exactly is a Home Depot Expo? Is that different than a regular HD?

The size of the zebra domes didn't bother me, I just didn't really care for it. They had some really great desserts on the buffet, but no one in our group (4 adults and 3 kids) liked the zebra domes.

Hi Folks - Missed all of yesterday - had to rush off - but the good news is that my Mother is fine....We had a scare but tests are all negative. No smilie here - just lots of thank you prayers. Join them please!

In my haste I left the 'puter on - so I may have been shown up as logged in.....And since you guys are soooo judgemental and blabbermouths :rotfl: I thought I'd fess up! :rotfl2:

Thoughts for the Day -

1. It's :sunny: Yup :sunny:
2. Haven't spoken with DH about grills.... :confused3 Sorry - arrrived home late due to Mother situation - DH gets up at 3:00......He was snoozing. Maybe tomorrow - 'sorry.
3. Posting with a bunch of weirdo's - well, I am new (ish) - how long can I claim that, and thought I'd wait to jump on this thread until after November. Nope -this is what I think of you all :grouphug: (GAG!)
4. Happy Father's Day to all. DH and I lost our Daddys so we don't celebrate this holiday...But Best wishes to all the Dad's out there. :wizard:
5. MS - nope not going there. Prayers for the families involved.
6. Fluff - I don't need no stinking fluff (NOT) :earboy2: geeze (is that a word). That's their loss.
7. Summer Camp - cool - that's what's being a kid is all about. :dancer:
8. Meeting place and time (come on - ya 'spect me to remember that in 40+ weeks..... :earboy2:
9. Mini-meet before the cruise :love1:
10. Best place to meet in Cocoa - the Irish Pub.
11. Best place to stay in Cocoa - Ron Jon's.
12. Excursions - ok - I'll go there. DIVE - not sure - have heard great things about Cozumel - and I have found the Scuba certificates and am updating them and looking into refresher courses so I will have that option. But also fascinated with the culture and possible pyamid visists. More research to do before I will commit. :badpc:
13. FLUFF QUEEN wanna be. princess: Not really, I could have had 14 posts here not one.

HAVE A GREAT DAY - FELLO CRUISERS :boat:

I am in awe...how do you do that????? That is like replying to a trillion posts at once!!!

I am still trying to catch up on the posts while we were gone. I think I still have around 30 pages to go. Don't think I am going to make it. We got up at 1:45 our time this morning to get to the airport. Kevin -- we were on the same flight you were on when you all came back to airport. stupid me thought it departed at 7 a.m. instead of 7:30, so we got to the airport a little early.

When I went to front desk at OKW to check out, the castmember offered to print our boarding passes on southwest. We got in on the last group of Group A. Got to the airport early enough and the kids were first in line this morning. Think I am going to bed early tonight (by 7) to help catch up. Ashley has swim practice at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow on the other side of town. Back to reality.
