But, on a better note, my neice had her baby! Awwwww. Healthy baby boy born Tuesday! 7#3oz and 20 inches long. :) No pictures yet. My mom and sister are down there now. Hopefully we'll get some soon!

Hi Folks - this is me :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella:

This is what I would like to see this weekend - :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

Anyone taking bets?

A public thank you to Scuba Diver for helping me out with questions on masks - considering taking the plunge for our Nov. and May cruises.

Lisa - take care of Scoopie - All that high-flying adventure with you will create extreme expectations for the rest of us. I'll have DH take him on Mission Space - he'll have to settle for Soarin' with me. :rotfl:

Tinks Dad - V/A - one of our very favourite places. We have dined (yes, dined) there twice, once for our 15th and once (gasp) for our 25th (we were married at 11 and 13 - of course). DDE to the rescure both times, but I hear now perhaps not at chef's talbe, our 2nd time.

Kikipug - and crew - have fun at WDW. Wish we could join you! Hope the weather is better further north.

And "HI" to everyone else....(Have I made it to 100 posts yet?) :cheer2:

Hope you're typing something profound. It's policy to post a profound message for those milestone posts. :)

Yeah - I blew that rule. Here was what I think was my 10,000th post

Hello - that's what the buttons are for :)

Real profound huh? At least I got to share it with Jim.

Profound, :cool1: such pressure! :cool1: YIKES - I never knew! But thanks ohiominnie for the warning! :teeth:

What to post, what to post? :confused3 - 99 posts ago I didn't even know about this crazy bunch of dis'ers. :disrocks: And now I cannot wait to meet you. :grouphug:

What to post :sad2: Favourite character - Nope y'all know that already!

Favourite Disney Movie - Park - WDE Resturant - Ride - Expression - Memory

hum what to post, what to post:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Based on what I have read on these posts, I'll combine my love of Irish pubs with Disney (Downtown disney is opening an Irish pub this summer - and I can't get any further than they promise it will be in July) -

I shall drink to your coffin.
May it be built from the wood of a 100-year old oak tree
that I shall plant tomorrow! :drinking1

And I'll drink to that!!! Congrats!!! :cheer2: Actually, what is scary is when Mary posts the posting tallys and you realize just how much time you've been spending on the doublescoop thread!!! :teeth: I think I started with a total around 50 when we booked the cruise in February...

I am proud to say I had 2778 posts on the 10 day thread (second only to Stacey). Sure it seems like a lot, but when you think that is over a year and a half it really is just short chats with my friends every day. As i said on a post on the main cruise board. I look at the DIS as an online Disney version of Cheers. It is nice to come where everyone knows my name! :)

I never realized I got to share your 10,000 post. I feel special and can't think of anyone I would rather share a special post with.

Well, Scuba Matt is safe in Costa Rica, here's the e-mail he sent us to keep us up to date:

Now that Im in a rythem I can tell you about it. I get up in the morning betwen
6:45 and 7. Then I have breakfast (beans and rice) yum!. Then take a shower.
Then Sergio takes me to school at 8. Were I learn until 12. Then I go home and
do homework until 12:30 then I eat lunch. Then I finish my homework, read, and
do something with the family for the evning. Finnaly I go to bed at 11:30 to
12.
adios,
Matt

Wow....that sounds like a full day for a kid. Why did he go there? Was it as a student? Sorry for the ignorance, I don't think I read the post that explained everything. Was there one?

Anyway, hope all are having fun in WDW. Wish I was there with ya. Instead I'm cleaning up after each and every mess that's made with the construction. Lots of fun. Bet you wish you were here. If anybody wants to see pictures of the construction, PM your e-mail and I will be able to e-mail them to you. They're on Kodak's website. I know Kevin told me how to do the URL, but I forgot what he said.

TTFN,
Maria

Hey everybody. We leave in 4 days for our WDW trip. Still so much to do to get ready. Ashley started her morning swim practices this week and they are wearing me out. The are across town close to my office, so we have been going in at 6 am 2x week and 6:30 other days. I stay and watch for a bit and then head off early to work.

Had to get a root canal done today and I have been in pain all afternoon. Hopefully this means I won't have any problems while in Orlando.

Sorry we are going to be missing Karen and Amanda. They leave before we get there.

see you guys.

We've been talking about trading in our hunk of junk Chevy van for awhile, but we thought we'd just limp by for awhile more....

Not a problem any longer.
We are the proud new owners of a Toyota Camry!! AH, back to my foreign cars made in America!
I feel better now!

AND...they gave us WAY more for our van than Kelly Blue Book said it was worth....about $1500 more than it was valued at!! Thought we were going to have to fight them when they told us it was worth LESS than KBB, but instead we happily signed the papers and laughed the whole way home! :)

Yeah, I'd like to see them! I love rehab....

Not THAT kind :drinking1 of rehab.....Sheesh!

PMing you...

What an amazing experience for Matt!

Mary, I think you'll have me beat on posts this time.....by a long shot!

Well....all packed. Tomorrow is "get beautiful" day. Ha. Nice try, anyway. Nails, hair, etc.

Will try to post once or twice from the ship. Still not believing it.

Maria

Why did Matt go to CR for 6 weeks?.......It's better than staying at home and letting me give him chores all summer long!!

It's a long story, but I'll give the short version. It's for spanish school. He is living with a family we have meet who has a 16 year old daughter. I wonder if he will remember the color of her eyes? So we loaded him up and sent him off. I miss my dive buddy.

There is nothing like a new car.

Maybe I should swing by a dealership and just take a look around. :rotfl:

:flower1:Good morning cruisers!:flower1:

Happy Friday!

Karen - Congrats on your new car!

Stacey - have a great day of pampering as you prepare for your cruise!

Jim - I'm glad I shared my 10000th with you too - and don't worry your dive buddy will be back soon!

Good Morning All - Congrats on the car, OM! What changed your mind about the Sienna?

Stacey - I am very excited for you, Magic tomorrow!

Mary, Scoopie is flying thru Chicago on Wednesday. Baltimore to Chicago then on to Vancouver. We have an hour and 1/2 layover.

Have a safe flight and an awesome vacation!
