Karen - I'm so glad you were there for me. I can't tell you how much I would have been in a panic if I hadn't had you and Mike.

Gus - got your pm - good luck!

Stacey - I call myself an idiot because if we had taken the slow and steady route instead of the shortcut I would not have gotten the bite. You know the funny thing is that with all my showing it off I didn't take a picture of it. So it is but a memory now. I'll never forget St. Lucia!

Good morning! No work for me today... I let the kids sleep in, and of course their first words when they woke up were, "We don't want to go to the Y today"... to which I answered, "Would you rather go to Disney World instead?"... I love a good surprise when they're half-asleep!! It's 8:07AM, and they are already packed and ready to go. Ray is working til noon, so they've got time to get insanely crazy before then.

It's supposed to rain all day, but it's very right now... I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We don't have much planned for tonight anyway; just to hit what we missed at Epcot a few weeks ago.

We'll be there only til Sunday... staying at POR. Amanda was supposed to be staying there too, but I think she switched her ressie to stay at one place all week.

Its hard for us to take a 'real' summer vacation, as the Pepsi 400 makes just about anything before 7/2 impossible for Ray, and football/cheerleading/coaching makes anything after 8/1 impossible for all of them. So, we take the day and a half that Ray can sneak away, make a long weekend, and make the best of it. The week of the cruise next year is our only 'window' of a full week that we can take all summer... that's how we decided on that week!!!

Do any of you have recommendations for don't miss restaurants at WDW. I purchased the DDE card and would like to eat at some different places while we are there. Let's hear what you guys think are the best sit down places.

After our fun diving excursion, the Diana, myself along with Jim and Sharon met at Victoria and Alberts. One of the BEST meals we have had in a lonnnnggg time. A bit pricey, but with the dining card (which paid for itself, two fold that night) it wasn't terrible.

Our other favs are; Flying Fish, Spoodles, California Grill, and the place inside the Dolpin (can't remember the name) all very nice!!

Wish you were going. Yes, we are diving where ever we can. Of course Kevin is the dive master for that trip. I just finished dive mastering our trip to Fort Lauderdale and am working on one for this weekend. He can make the arrangments for the cruise.

Cool! I will NOT dissappoint!

STUFF!! Really GOOD stuff!!

The wine package didn't help the final price, but did help with the meal, hmmmmmmm, VERY good!

We hooked up with Amanda, friend Heather and the kids yesterday. Had a great time, hanging out in Epcot. Got fast passes for Soarin' and then played around until time. Turtle Talk with Crush was "Awesome Dude"!

Alicia made a new friend with Amanda's cutie daughter Taylor!!

Hey, you Walt Disney World travellers....hope you're having FUN down there!! Sounds like a blast !!!!!


Nothing much doing here today, except packing. I managed to put it off long enough. It's a nice cloudy day. Yes...NICE.....makes it a lot cooler for us.
Sounds like it may be a bit chilly the first night or two of the cruise. Had to add a couple pairs of pants and a jacket. You'd think I'd know better by now!

Off to do more packing. Where's the butler when you need one???

This is Little Gymnast - I am at my Mom's work today and we are reading the boards while we eat lunch. What does Scoopie like to eat? I want to "feed" him what he likes when he goes to Camp with me. Is it ok for me take him on all of the events (Bars, Beam, Vault & Floor)? He might get dizzy when I twist or flip.

Hi Lisa - i think Scoopie would enjoy everything you do! As for taking him on the events I hope you mean when practicing. I wouldn't want you to be disqualified because you had help sticking your landing! I know Scoopie is going to love going to camp with you. Don't forget to take pictures!

We've been talking about trading in our hunk of junk Chevy van for awhile, but we thought we'd just limp by for awhile more....

Recently the back wiper stopped working. Of course it stopped in the full upright position! Mike said it looked like I was flipping everyone on the highway off!! It would cost $400 to fix, but since we figured we'd be trading it in soon, we wouldn't mess with it.

Well, today I get in, start the car and the back wiper motor is making a horrible noise!!! It sounds like machine gun fire!! YIKES!! Now we can't just turn it in and not mention the wiper.....it's OBVIOUS!

Sakes alive, if it's not one thing it's another!
