Speaking of The Beast....

I heard from the new owners quite awhile ago. She was having problems. She was testing and pushing every button they had.

I emailed them a list of her problem areas, but also a HUGE long list of her tricks and things she DID know.

I haven't heard from them since.

MY logic is that if everything was hunky dorey and they were having a fine time, they would have emailed me. But the fact that we HAVEN'T heard leads me to suspect that there are still problems.

Does that sound right to anyone else?

I'm feeling like Diana. I have been decluttering and mostly either throwing things out or donating them to charity (well, that's NOT how I feel like Diana)

I feel like Diana because I listed a few things on ebay and also several homeschool curriculum "sets" on my homeschool message board and I've SOLD something!!! I had all this "stuff" sitting around and now it's going somewhere and I'm making a couple extra bucks.

Mike thinks I'm ill b/c we ran into Wal*mart tonight to get a movie and a frozen pizza and I said "I'm going to buy a few extra things so I can sell them on ebay!" HA!

Well, my "vacation" is winding down. We are heading to Mansfield tomorrow and meeting my parents to make the kid exchange (ironically, at the same McDonalds where I met the breeder to give Maggie back)

Karen - not a problem. I'll just find out from Scoopie's travel agent where he should go next. Since we will hopefully be at WDW for a few days after the cruise we'll show him around there and then we can send him on to the next person!

It's raining!!!! I feel like I'm back in Chicago - it always rained on Memorial Day weekend. Or, at least when I was in marching band...

Scoopie's website is almost done. He will be one indulged cone by the time next May is here!

Mary, so far and it's still early - don't have a spot for Scoopie in September after your cruise - Maggie's hoping he comes back to Houston for a rest as much as possible...

Were there comm pins for the 10 night? I only got in line one night, it was brutal.

yeah,they had the artist choice pin released then, and something else, can't remember what.

but no unique "10 day" or "first trip to st. lucia" pins.

Happy Sunday Everyone It rained here all day yesterday too Monica. Last weekend we were at 105, yesterday the high was 65. What a drastic change in one week. Things should start getting back to normal later in the week.

Started laying out clothes yesterday for our trip. Need to get some major planning done for leaving next week. Kids still don't know, so it is a little difficult packing for them without them figuring out where we are going.

Monica, I sent you a pm before I read up on these posts. We will gladly take scoopie twice. Hopefully over the 4th of July we will be in Austin and we can get a great picture of him at the one and only "University of Texas" campus in Austin.

Do any of you have recommendations for don't miss restaurants at WDW. I purchased the DDE card and would like to eat at some different places while we are there. Let's hear what you guys think are the best sit down places.

Saw Madagascar last night. Thought it was pretty good. The theater was packed and it was playing on 3 screens at Cinemark on our side of town. Star Wars is on 4 screens. DH and DS saw it last weekend, but I haven't made it to that one yet. Thought I would wait until the crowds died down
