Hi everyone! My name is Scoopie and I'm looking forward to coming and visit you!

Hey Scoopie... have you ever ridden a Clydesdale?

Sorry, I have no clue....What's a DDE card?

Gosh leave you guys along for almost a day and its hundreds of posts to catch up on --- I may have missed it (how could Mary not have answered) but a DDE Disney Dining Entertainment --- I think. It is great * a 20% discount off of sit down meals and food courts where there is no sit down resturant and also discounts for other admissions.

BEAR - you are sooo cool! :cool1: Can't wait to see you! :teeth:

And I am still looking for the scoop on Scoopie -- I have not worked backwards enough to find out what Scoop is.....See what happens when I have meetings out of the office....

But regardless you can count us in - me - DH and DHH (DHH is Disney Hedgehog who cannot wait to meet BEAR).

And thank you - THANK YOU - for the memorial Day Anthems. Not sure if anyone found the Coast Guard Lyrics yet --

From North and South and East and West,
The Coast Guard's in the fight.
Destroying subs and landing troops,
The Axis feels our might.
For we're the first invaders,
On every fighting field.
Afloat, ashore, on men and Spars,
You'll find the Coast Guard shield.

Chorus

We're always ready for the call,
We place our trust in Thee.
Through howling gale and shot and shell,
To win our victory.
"Semper Paratus" is our guide,
Our pledge, our motto, too.
We're "Always Ready," do or die!
Aye! Coast Guard, we fight for you.

Congrats Mary for the 6000 post - I still have not figured out how to grap a TOP......

Good Weekend anyone! :Pinkbounc

Hi everyone! My name is Scoopie and I'm looking forward to coming and visit you! If you want me to come to your house be sure and contact Monica. She and her DD Maggie are going to be my travel agents. I look forward to meeting many of you in the coming year!

Hi Scoopie - Glad to meet you. Can't wait to see you this time next year (or maybe earlier than 4:10 pm)! :Pinkbounc

Come join us for a week, we will take good care of you. :smooth:

You'll need a nice padded box for traveling and sleeping but other than that - no worries.

We have everything a little Scoopie could want. :cloud9:

Think I am caught up on posts now....not sure who is left on-line. :earboy2:

Just got back from Matagascar...It was really cute! Enough physical comedy to keep the kids happy and tons of subtle adult humor to keep us from nodding off.

It's summer!!!

Monica,

My 10 yo is wanting to go see Madagascar tonight! It looks cute, so maybe I can convince hubby to go??

Pam

Wow! Scoopie already has wonderful invitations to travel - oh boy am I ever jealous!!! I think I'll need to come along as a chaperone!!! Alaska, Clydesdales...

He has his own e-mail account now - I'll PM you with his email address. This way he can keep in touch with his travel journal and vacation photos. It will also be easy to check in when he's off to meet his next family...

If you would like to host Scoopie either on vacation or at home (remember, even your home is vacation to him!!!) PM me with your address and if you would like him at a certain time, we'll make every effort to get him to you. Maggie can't wait to send Scoopie on his way!!!

I'd say go - with or without hubby - I'd probably equate Madagascar to the 1st Shek...the one liners and visual humor that were targeted to the adults were hilarious...

Uh...how HORRIBLE!!! WHy didn't someone WARN me???

Another day off....another day without the kids. Mike was off today too....
so we unloaded ALL of our bookcases and reorganized our bookshelves (getting rid of books we don't want or that the kids have outgrown)

After that we needed a break so we watched Ladder 49. UGH! I knew a young firefighter died, but 1/2 way through, when one died, I thought that was it.

Karen - I posted pretty much the same thing back on the 10 day thread a couple of weeks ago. We had finally seen it then.

but I did get a laugh when I got this email from my dad:

YOU HAVE UNTIL 7 PM TO COME AND GET YOUR SON OUT OF HERE. KT CAN STAY BE HE'S GOT TO GO.

HE SAID IN 3 YEARS HE WILL BE 11. I SAID IN 3 YEARS I WILL BE 74 THEN HE SAID OR DEAD!!!!

:rotfl2:

ok, it's kinda not funny that he'd actually SAY that....but Nick had a comedic wit about him and perfect timing. man, what will i do with this boy??

Well, now, see, I haven't been following that thread much. I guess it was a well done movie, just not the ending I wanted. When it ended, I told Mike "well, that sucked." And he said "that's what they call a tragedy." Well, it still sucked. When I put it in my Netflix queue, it didn't pop up "tragedy." :(

Scoopie looks cute. We'll have to get in line to take him for awhile. :)

Monica

Sent you our summer vacation schedule for Scoopie, I am sure it would be difficult to get him anytime for summer though, so whenever.

See ya,

Scoopie is welcomed here any time... although this time of year, he might melt!!! If he'd like, he can join us when the weather is cooler... doesn't matter to me.

Netflix has more than just kids' movies and television shows? :rotfl2:

With the exception of "Shall We Dance" and a few other R movies...the rest are the old tv shows...I'm having too much fun introducing the kids to the sitcoms and cartoons I used to watch...

Right now we're in the middle of Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries and Speed Racer...The kids love 'em - I was always a huge Shaun Cassidy fan - but, now I think I'm changing my allegance - boy, are Parker's eyes blue!!!

I went to see it Christmas Eve on Magic. BooHoo'd with almost everyone else in the theater.
