How did the weekend turn out? Hope you are all safe & sound.

Thanks everyone for asking. The weekend was crazy! Nick did his shows Saturday then we checked into the hotel. The roads were icy so I'm glad we didn't have to worry about getting home! Ordered a pizza and chilled until it was time to go to KT's theater. Got there in TWO minutes. TWO! That's so cool. I want to live at the Hyatt! Slept in the next day and finished up shows then drove home. By then the highways were fine. Our country roads were blown over and icy in spots, but I only had to deal with that for the last 4 miles or so.

I thought things would slow down, but not quite yet. Today Nick finished his 19 show stint of Pooh. KT finished HSM on Sunday. Auditioned for Antigone yesterday and has callbacks tomorrow. In between it all, I made another double batch of penguin cookies! I'm insane! Some went to KT's youth group Christmas party. The rest will go with us to a Christmas party tomorrow night (after rehearsals and callbacks, of course!)

Love to stay and chat, but I've got a list a mile long of things I need to get done. Playing catch up and realizing that Christmas is in just a few days! ACK!

If we didn't have doctor and therapy appointments almost every day, I'd maybe get something done. Ah, but think how bored I'd be!!

My mom says that's why people retire....they can't fit in their job and all of their doctor's appointments! Seems like she and my dad are always running in for something or another.

Ok - The saying "If you want to make God laugh, just make plans," is turning out to be true. I was scheduled to work only 1 hour this week and figured I could finish the cleaning, wrapping, get some baking done, do Christmas cards, etc...Wrong...I'm subbing classes yesterday, today and tomorrow. The kids have a 1/2 day tomorrow...

The kids activities are all wrapping up this week - why can't we spread out the holiday parties and concerts throughout the entire month of December instead of the last week of school? That's not including Maggie's lacrosse practice and Mike started basketball practice this week both 2x/ this week. I think I need an advance degree in transportation Logistics to make this all work...

Hey.....update on my Dad since his eye surgery! He had his last follow up with the doctor yesterday, and his vision is now (nearly) perfect!!!
He'll still have to wear his reading glasses, but he's had those a long time anyway. But no more double vision, and his eyes are now where they are supposed to be. YEA!!!!!

Just got a call from Kristin - they had made an offer on a house - and the owners countered. Pretty sure that they are going to accept it - so it looks like they have a place to live!!! It's on Parksley Drive (for Monica and John).... and close to their work. I will try and post pictures later - but I work the next 4 nights. I also need to post the picture of the DISmeet!

Glad everybody seems to be doing well after their surgeries, etc. OM - time to take a deep breath and enjoy the holiday!

Here's the dumbest thing you guys will have probably heard all year. I just crossed my fingers and for the first time, I realized that I can't cross my pointer and middle fingers. I cross the middle and ring finger.

Is that normal??

Stacey, If you're old, so am I. We just got home from a theater party. (not a cast party....just a bunch of ppl from various and sundry theaters around town and we were privileged to be invited. They did a white elephant gift thing and the oldest person got to pick 1st. Of the 20 some odd ppl there....I picked 3rd. Mike picked 4th. For the "adults" it went all the way down to age 20! I said, "i'm old enough to be your mother!"
