Rehearsals started for High School Musical. KT is in all of her glory!!! She's one of the "thespians." She and another kid get to do the "audition" where they are all freaky and weird and very hippy-like.

Our 10-year anniversary is coming up next week. Any suggestions on a gift for Bruce? This is sad that I can't think of anything that he'd want/need. I'm thinking about going to Publix to see if they can do an anniversary cake for me.

I kept forgetting to ask Larry if he wanted me to book a cruise for us while on board next month, so I e-mailed him at home from work. I e-mailed him again when the rumors of Alaska came out and asked him if we were interested. We were watching a movie last night when he blurted out 'YES and YES'. I was confused until I remembered the e-mails. So...we're in for Alaska if the rumors are true.

Speaking of anniversaries... If I remember our various conversations over the past 2+ years, don't we have a bunch of anniversaries in October???

Ours is the 14th - 18 years and how are we spending it? I'm teaching a Lifeguard Instructor Certification all weekend, finishing up at 1:00pm on Sunday and then taking Mike to 1776 Pit Orchestra rehearsal, John's taking pictures at a race and then going to work set construction for 1776 (which he'll be working on all weekend) ...If I want to see him, I'm going to have to weld a hammer or a paintbrush...yeah right...

Ours is the 27th and it will be #17 for us. We'll be in TN visiting with our ring bearer and his wife who are expecting their first child any day now.

Back in the shop for a window that won't close....

My local garage that only does VW says there is a problem with the windows that should be covered by VW. There even might be a repair bulletin out on it. Something about the heat makes something seperate. We have replaced several windows.

Something to check into if they try to hit you for $$$

Yeah - those bugs. See there is another reason to go somewhere cooler -no tropical bugs. Dr. Mike will be happy that I won't be waving my arm at him to show him any bug bites.

Don't plan on Alaska being cooler. The last time I was in Fairbanks it was 92 degress and the bugs were horrible. Black flies and misquitos everywhere.

nope, no $$$ Still one month left on the warranty... This is the 2nd time they've fixed the window in the past (almost) 4 years...

Computer is moving sooo slowly tonight, rather than make a second post, I'll just tell you all that the doc gave me the go-ahead to take baby steps at home, and to start therapy so that I can re-join the human upright race again SOON!!

Jay and I celebrated our 20TH on Monday. Well, actually, we decided to wait and celebrate on the Christmas cruise...both our real anniversary and our vow renewal anniversary...when I'm back to 100%....
