Nope - Leopard (new operating system OSX 10.5) won't be here until October... They released an updated MacBook Pro yesterday. Faster, better graphic card, new LED backlighting, etc.

I did not know anything was going on. I've been busy cooking and cleaning (my new life since I'm home alone).

Guess I'll have to drive over in the Jeep. That will make it rain.

That's right... Matt is gone for the summer, so you get the Jeep... our rain shortage should be cleared up in no time!

Looks like they managed to get this fire contained this time... not like last year. Should be some storms rolling in this afternoon too. We sure could use them!!!

Stacey, great pics. Hope you are enjoying yourself. It looks absolutely heavenly. That's my idea of a vacation but not Bruce's.

We head out Sat. a.m. for WDW. I can't wait! I've been swamped with work so I have made no headway on getting the house cleaned or us packed up. I'll HAVE to start tonight.

It's funny, because I never seem to be able to sit still and just chill....I always seem to have to be "going somewhere, doing something"....but not this time. I am sooooo loving just basically doing nothing.
I've been keeping a journal, trip report..whatever..and it's really rather boring!

My Pentax underwater camera died yesterday. No reason. Didn't even seem to have any water inside it or anything. Not too happy about that, but I'll get over it.

Seems I'm not having good luck in the electronic area....but oh well!

You have obviously forgotten the rule you implemented this year - that it is up to the kids to purchase / make Father's Day (or Mother's Day) gifts. Somehow I don't see Lisa's $3/hr part time job and Matt's minimum wage job being able to purchase this for you. If you have any other ideas, they are trying to come up with something.

It was a committee decision.

The kids are big enough that they can be responsible for the holidays. Of course, I did provide a little gift so Sharon would not be totally forgotten.

Thank you for your prayers and pixie dust. The dr. took her uterus and found tumors on her ovaries. He sent them off to pathology and they were the same cancer as in her uterus, so he removed them also. He also removed some lymph nodes, but said they looked ok. He sent them to pathology, and we will find out on Wednesday if they were cancerous. I imagine that will determine if she needs chemo or not. I'm taking a map of Castaway Cay and info on Nassau with me when I go down to take care or her. That way I can get her thinking of our cruise in November.

What a great idea, giving her something fun to look forward to. Sorry the doc had to take all of it, but better safe than sorry. I'll be praying for no chemo.
